sirtomspice: When planning this music video, there was a sentence that kept echoing in my mind: "Someday, without fail, you will encounter a flower that is yours alone." I hoped to help people when life feels difficult and it seems like no one recognizes their efforts, thinking, "Soon, I'll be able to make my own flower bloom." Starting from that feeling, I drew inspiration from the film The Martian and created a confined dystopian space, where Onew struggles to make a flower bloom. Not everything made it into the music video, but outside that space was a world in ruins-and just imagining that backdrop made the entire composition flow more naturally. Working with Onew was truly a joy. He was so immersed that he asked me, "Is there anything more you'd like to film?" His movement and acting showed a complete understanding of the story. His ability to understand and express emotions was exceptional. As a director, encountering such moments is a tremendous fortune. I hope this work can offer someone even a small measure of comfort.
