Watching the Third Doctor and Delgado!Master, or reading their stories, you can’t help but see them as children playing games, using our world as their playground. The Master’s “evil plans” never feel truly frightening and the Doctor almost enjoys their encounters, he even misses him. They don’t come across like beings who are centuries old, but more like two 13–14-year-old teenagers. And maybe, for Time Lords, that really is what they are.

I was just labeled racist for not liking Mickey and Danny (no one cared that I love the Fifteenth Doctor, the Fugitive Doctor, Martha or Bill). I was also called misogynist for not liking Lucy Saxon (no one cared that I love the Thirteenth Doctor and all of the Doctor’s female companions and that I’m a woman myself).

Who are we allowed to like? Who are we allowed not to like?

I judge characters based on their writing and their relationship with the characters I love, not their race or gender. I love Black characters, I love lots of female characters.

Why does this fandom enjoy canceling everyone? They never go after actual misogynists or real racists.

I read “A Town Called Eternity” by Lance Parkin and Mark Clapham, which takes place directly after Planet of Fire.

After being burned in the Sarn flames, the Master’s body was left completely unrecognizable. The burns caused him unbearable pain, forcing him to wear a mask resembling Tremas’s face. And ever since then, he’s been afraid of fire 😢

The Doctor does feel a bit guilty for not saving him, but the second he sees the Master again, he goes straight back to trying to kill him. The Fifth Doctor is seriously ruthless when it comes to the Master. Why is the Doctor so cruel? 😭

Fun fact: The Master has watched the movie “Jurassic Park”.

sometimes i feel the Master doesn't get enough credit for all the things he accomplished in Utopia, The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords.

he stole the Doctor's TARDIS and stranded him and his friends at the end of the universe. he cannibalised the TARDIS and turned her into a paradox machine. he built a satellite network around Earth to amplify his mind control, became prime minister and subjugated the whole human race in under two years. he also defeated the Doctor again and made possible an impossible paradox by having the future humans decimate a tenth of the human population. and as if that were not enough, he made humanity build for him a fleet of 200,000 ships out of scrap, each of them with a black hole converter inside and ready to fight against the universe.

In Doctor Who, Missy said that Time Lords see humans as animals and temporary pets. It honestly added so much to both The Doctor and the Time Lords.
