To anyone who’s playing splatoon raiders where do I get my missing scrolls?? From what I can tell I’ve gotten all the scrolls from all the levels but the first tab of scrolls still has three that I haven’t seen anywhere

I finished splatoon raiders a couple days ago it’s cool that the game ended with deep cut paying reparations to the salmonids and acknowledging their racist biases and the mass genocide that they and other inkfish have enacted on the salmonids for thousands of years and totally nothing else happened in this ending

#Reposting my own joke. hi #I spent so much time talking about this off tumblr anyways I need to stop thinking about this before the migraine comes back but like its #genuinely so crazy to me that this game spends so much time establishing what salmonid culture is like more than we have seen in any of the #previous games and giving you looks into their personalities and the way they live their lives an establishing at every turn that these are #sentient intelligent people but none of this is established in the main story of the game and the story is still about killing them by #literally the thousands and looting indigenous cultural artifacts. with no payoff to any of this deep cut acts the entire time like the #salmonids are dumb animals that it is okay to kill while every piece of extraneous information is telling you that these are just normal #people. what am I supposed to think here what do they even want me to take away from this. ignoring the racism in this one it’s just a #really bizarre writing decision #The interviews really explained a lot of this LOL the entire time I was playing this I was like ‘how do you even get to this point writing #wise’ LOL and I guess they explained it. ok #god if they had even put in the most like heavy handed ‘WAITTT WERE ACTUALLY THE BAD GUYS? RACISM IS BAD?’ twist that would have made the #game so much better instead there is no payoff for literally anything in this game there’s barely even a story

God splatoon would be so good if it was good

#the bit in the dev interview about how every started to kind of realize that it was fucked up that you’re just killing the salmonids and #stealing their historical artifacts but they were too far in development to do anything about it so they just were like ‘make the salmonids #look scarier I guess’LET ME IN LET ME WRITE THE GAME!! LET ME WRITE THE GAME!!!!!!
