Incidentally when I called the vet to say “SO THE DOG I CALLED YOU ABOUT TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR SHOTS AND SPAYING HAD PUPPIES” both the vet and the vet tech made sounds that are best compared to a teakettle hitting a full boil as we set up an appointment to wrangle the potato crop in for their six week checkup and shots.

As a tech I can 500% confirm this is fact and there was probably a fight over who got to work on the puppies.
