There’s a lot of stigma around psych meds.

Our society tends to both condemn and romanticize them, instead of seeing them for what they truly are: a tool, a help, a need. Something people have to rely on in order to live a fulfilling - or a simply normal - life.

Something I often ask myself is: will I ever be able to live without them? Or will I need them for the rest of my life? Am I me just because of them? Who would I be if I simply stopped taking them - the version of myself I already know or the ill person I used to be in the past?

This questions don’t really need any answer.

We should simply acknowledge that if we need them, right now, in this exact space - time dimension, we should take them and make them do their work.

Found these analog photos I took years ago when I tried to experiment with b&w photography and double exposure - not the best quality but wanted to do something with them.
