A soft yawn escaped the male as he shifted to water some of the flowers that lingered inside of the shop. Most of them were still fresh, so that was a bonus. However it was getting near closing time and he was rather exhausted from studying most of the day. He was quick to perk up despite that when he heard the chime of the door open, flashing a smile to the male who entered and giving a wave of the hand.
“Evening! How can I help you today?”
Shun was eating dinner when he was struck by one of his many impulsive ideas. He hadn’t visited his grandmother in a long time, and even though it was late, in a few minutes he was out the door and walking down the street, looking for something to buy for the old lady. Most of the shops were already closed; it was by pure chance he stumbled upon a small flower shop that was still open. He walked through the door, greeted by a little bell and a smile.
And all of a sudden, Shun was distracted. The young shopkeeper had very gentle, almost sleepy eyes; his mild gaze had an innocent allure, and Shun felt it imprudent not to smile back.
