Day #61 - BORN

Born is more than a typeface, it’s also a story: that of my 2013. A story about moving to the big city, the result of meeting great people from all over the world and their cultures, too; the result of talks in classes, bars and trains… the result of sharing moments, experiences, knowledges… Born is the result of all these experiences and people, and now I’m sharing with you this piece of my story.

Day #60 - LONDON

First and foremost: I am not a type designer per se. I create fonts only in order to incorporate them to my designs. Nevertheless, I have been often required to release them as functional fonts; so much that I had to give in, and I've started converting some. London is the first one. It is inspired by and based upon the classic Bodoni (Black MT), with major adjustments on the loops, ears, spurs and overall width.

Day #59 - PH

PH from Fontfabric is a multifaceted font system consisting of different font weights (96!) and types of condensation.

Day #58 - PERFOGRAMA

The font is inspired by computing machines IBM Harvard – Mark 1, an electro mechanical computer read its instructions from a 24-channel punched paper tape and executed the current instruction and then read in the next one. It had no conditional branch instruction. The original concept was presented to IBM by Howard Aiken in November 1937.
