only   when   they   checked   a   painting   did   they   notice   a   dagger   with   a   rose   .   it   had   a   letter   attached   to   it   ,   and   within   seconds   it   was   read   .   it   made   the   cops   only   more   confused   than   they   were   before   the   letter   .
