I actually really liked this - particularly the Main Theme and Sleepwalker.

This was attached to a Mutual Aid post I'd circulated either here on on BlueSky a ways back.

The person is struggling to make ends meet. I don't know them, so I cannot speak to their specific circumstances beyond 'they said they were at risk of homelessness'.

I’ve been working on a better description which will probably accompany the album whenever that’s out, but here’s the quick and dirty version:

Sunspun is an RPG in which you play as Coda, a young muse of the stars whose avian friends Jasper and Piper have always sung the dawn chorus every morning to inspire the great serpent of sunlight to shine upon the Daylands, keeping springtime everlasting and preventing the return of a cold and endless night. However, said serpent has recently fallen into a deep depression, and winter has been encroaching as the days have gradually grown shorter and colder. In her dreams, Coda receives a plea from the stars, asking him to avert the return of winter by venturing into the Nightlands, beyond the horizon line, to reunite the wayward members of the Astral Troupe, who had once been led by Jasper and Piper’s late phoenix progenitor in the theatrical performance which initially ended the endless night. What Coda and her friends don’t know is that the Astral Troupe has stayed disbanded for a reason— old wounds which haven’t healed, and are now bleeding out. Bringing the band back together will be an uphill battle, and meanwhile the world is only growing colder…

Thematically, it’s a story about complex trauma, the aftermath of abuse, dynamics of control, the roles that constrain us, the inescapable past, and kids forced to shoulder the cold weight of the world. It’s also about trying to get the messiest motherfuckers on the planet to work together without killing each other or themselves. It’s also also about answering the question of “Would the Undertale OST have gone harder if there was more accordion in it?” (Yes.)
