probably somewhere overthinking

1. Henley was what?? while hanging upside down?? - From the first to second movie there is an 1 year time jump and we are told that Henley chose to leave because she grew tired of waiting around for the Eye to contact them. Sure, it was just a rumor, but Atlas's reaction to Lula when she said that was very much "she left me". Now, care to explain HOW exactly she left the Eye and the Horsemen because she couldn't be tied up upside down while 6 montha pregnant???? Huh??? When did she have time for that, between running from the FBI and Interpol?

2. Which leads me to my nect point. This lovely bunch is made of 5 or 6 criminals. Matter of fact, INTERNATIONAL CRIMINALS (US, France, Russia and probably a few more). Tell me how was Jack just on a cruise ship doing cute tricks?? The last time the horsemen were together, Dylan got arrested and now these people are just hanging around like they aren't on the FBI's most wanted list? THERE WAS A TASKFORCE FOR THEM IN THE 2ND MOVIE!!

Also, on this note. Sure, Atlas was hidden, Merritt was in Mexico and Henley could have changed her identity, but if a 20 year old was able to track them down, so can the FBI. I chose to believe Charlie only left Lula out of the original plan because she was the only one that actually stayed low in Paris (I chose to ignore that at some point she was on that damn cruise ship with Jack)

I find that the lack of an active pursuit of the horsemen by law enforcement in this movie was also another thing that was very important and just does not happen

3. IN FACT!! Bosco has an outstaning warrant from Interpol, gets arrested for this and for the fact he just stole a car in front of dozens of witnesses, escapes and then, when interpol gets on stage to take Veronika, they just leave the other 8 criminals behind??

4. How does Henley know/like Thaddeus??? The first movie ended with Thaddeus in jail and we only find out he is part of the Eye on the end of the second. Henley LEFT the Eye way before that and she never really contacted the horsemen members as a group again, since Atlas was surprisd she knew Lula. So why tf is she hugging Thaddeus???

Also, LULA was the one who might have had that relationship with him and they didn't tell her he died! She asked what happened and they didn't tell her! It could have been the push she needed to sacrifice her (so far successfully) hidden life in Paris, but no, she didn't need one, she just wants to conveniently go!

5. Less appalling, but how did Charlie know that the Eye contacted it's magicians via tarot card?

Anyways, I watched the movie yesterday and these are the only ones I thought of so far. I stand by the fact that I want 10+ more of these, but it also makes me sad that the script writers just did not care about continuity and logic. It grinds my gears that some of these are also just throw away lines that did not need to be there and just helped poke more holes

This is a fandom that fought for a decade to have this movie made and an average fan like myself was able to detect all of these in a few hours, this should not pass unnoticed

Just to clarify one more time, I liked the movie!! Was just dissapointed by the lack of care for the fans and for the franchise, but maybe I'm too picky
