Cheltenham Badlands, ON. Loved getting down and dirty to capture photos of this unique landscape. The soil was red, the air was fresh, and dusk was turning to twilight... I love how nature can make me feel so grounded and humbled.

Cable car en route up to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Before summers end I went on a trip to Dominican Republic and of course as is my style I researched what the must do activities were in the area. Number one must thing to do according to most guides was to ride the cable car to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres. It's a bit of a hair raising experience, but I assure you that the beautiful sight of the city below and the Christ statue as well as the many gardens on top of the mountain make the journey worth all the nerves.

I just got word that two of my submissions for the Toronto Waterfront Photography Contest have been selected by the judges as finalists. I'm super excited about this news. :) In honour of being a finalist my photos will be displayed at Harbourfront Centre in Queens Quay Terminal for an entire month starting from the opening Artist Preview Gala on Friday, September 26 until the end of October 2014.
