#finalist

I’ve got some amazing news to share—I recently took part in a poetry competition here in the UK and placed third. An anthology featuring the winning poems will be published in the coming weeks, and I’ll be attending an awards ceremony to celebrate.

This marks the second time I’ve been published, having placed fourth in a previous competition—and I’ve only been writing poetry for just under three months. To be published twice in such a short span is utterly fantastic, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

If you’ve ever considered entering a poetry competition, I urge you to give it a go. Just search for local opportunities—it’s a brilliant way to get your work out there and connect with other writers.
