                             ❛    B-B-BIG   BRO   !!    ❜     what   kind   of   a   MONSTER   just   bites   into   a   popsicle   ———   someone   with   teeth   of   steel   or   perhaps   someone   who   simply   didn’t   know   how   to   SAVOR   a   treat.   frowning   at   her   sibling   ,   miki   turned   back   to   her   own   treat   before   sticking   it   back   in   her   mouth   to   enjoy   the   frozen   confection.

                     ‘ i’m sorry– i hate to turn away a potential                         member, but the boxing club isn’t currently                        accepting new members. ‘

       The door creaking open isn’t an unusual sound. Disregarding whoever’s arrival, the first-year’s attention stays solely on her own activity. This is changed, however, when she finally recognizes that the voice is unfamiliar. What’s more, the voice seems to be addressing her, but with an unusual honorific that she’s never heard in relation to her. For half a second, she’s taken aback purely by that alone, but another surprise lands: the person who entered the dormitory is, in fact, Sanada Akihiko’s little sister! ( He has a sister? Since when?! ) 

       ❝Ah…!❞ Karin scrambles to her feet, meeting the apparent new girl face-to-face with a bow of her own. ❝Um, h-hi! Hello! It’s– it’s nice to meet you, too. My name’s Igarashi Karin, from class 1-A.❞

                                                           ❛    OH   ,   i   guess   that   makes   us   BOTH   first   years   !!   i’m   in   class   1-B   ,   although   i’m   a   bit   of   a   late   start.    ❜      she   gives   a   curt   laugh   before   pacing   over   to   greet   the   other   properly,   noticing   the   surprise   resting   on   her   features.   the   only   ones   who   would   have   known   of   her   arrival   would   have   been   her   own   brother   &   of   course   mitsuru   ;   which   would   explain   the   others   expression   ,   miki   only   greeting   it   with   a   smile.

                                                        ❛   AHH   ,   i’ve   always   wanted   to   live   in   a   dorm   ,   how   cool!      ❜    stepping   into   the   dorm   for   the   first   time   ,   miki   takes   a   moment   to   glance   around   at   it’s   RUSTIC   aesthetic.   this   had   been   the   place   where   her   brother   resided   &   miki   was   more   then   happy   to   be   able   to   stay   here   alongside   him.   eyes   finally   stop   wandering   when   they   make   contact   with   another   ,   a   smile   on   her   face   as   she   offers   her   senpai   a   quick   bow.

                                        ❛   o-oh   ,   it’s   nice   to   meet   you   ,   senpai!   i’m   sanada   miki   ,                                               AKI’S   little   sister   &   i’ll   be   staying   here   from   now   on!     ❜

            “uh … are siblings normally this… overzealous over each other?”

Once her name left her lips, he knew exactly who it was. His body began to shut down almost and left him weak in the knees. His constant thoughts of the past and nightmares from that day made him imagine her dead from the flames of the orphanage. Nothing bring her back, his brain often thought. But she must have escaped somehow, his heart cried on. And so his heart was correct in the end, his sister standing before him in his very school hallway. It wasn’t dream, it was reality and it felt like the world stopped for this moment.

“ M … Miki … Y – You’re … ” His words failed him and he began to notice students staring at the two. Akihiko did not wish to stay any longer and began to drag her to an empty classroom. It was during the break so the classrooms seemed to have no one in sight. Lucky for him. He felt the urge to collapse and cry at her feet, let his emotions take over for the rest of the time he had with her as if she would fly away like ash. But he stayed tall in his posture, keeping his proper form even if he felt like the earth was about to crush him. “ … This isn’t some … sick joke is it? You’re really … Miki? ”

                                                HAD   IT   BEEN   AKIN   TO   A   DREAM   ,   miki   suddenly   found   herself   not   wishing   to   wake   from   her   slumber.   yet   ,   the   warmth   from   his   hand   on   hers   spread   like   WILD   FIRE    through   her   body.   eyes   never   leaving   his   gloved   digits   in   fear   that   if   he’d   let   go   he’d   be   lost   once   more.   teeth   biting   down   upon   a   quivering   lip   ,   it   had   all   happened   so   fast   --   the  rush   of   emotion   POISON   to   her   body   as   tears   threaten   to   leave   her   doe   like   eyes.   

the   door   closes   behind   them   &   she’s   pulled   to   the   center   of   the   room   ,   blinking   rapidly   to   try   &   rid   herself   from  the   sudden   wave   of   HEART   BREAK   that   overflows   within   her.   hands   slowly   reaching  to   grab   once   more   at   his   vest   ,   her   BROTHERS   vest.   akihiko’s   heart   beat   pressing   against   her   palm.   

                                                       ❛    is   ---   is   this   REALLY   happening   ...   ?    ❜    astonished   as   those   words   leave   her   lips   so   do   her   tears.   staining   her   pale   cheeks   she   does   her   best   to   keep   it   together   but   inside   she’s   BREAKING   from   her   LONELINESS.    ❛    i   just   came   here   b-because   ---   because   they   TOLD   me   too   ...   but   ,   but   you   were   gone   &   so   was   shinshin   &---    ❜      words   stop   flowing   from   her   lips   as   she   drops   her   head   down.   stepping   forward   to   press   her   face   into   his   chest.

Annoyance began to come to mind as the girl began to jab at him. He caught her second punch with ease and his grey eyes glared down at her. Truly not a smart move, especially if she was new, which was as plain as day. Before he could yell at her more, her appearance seemed oddly familiar. The locks matched his own and the same doll eyes … Realization was hard to grasp onto but his gut was telling him something was off here.

“ … What’s your name? Full name, ” he demanded, his hand gripping tighter to his wrist. If his gut was right … if this was really someone he knew … But another side was telling him it wasn’t true, not possible. He knew what happened that day and he wouldn’t do a damn thing to change it … but …

                                          HEARTS   BEATING   ,   she   can   hear   it   in   her   ears   as   the   other   catches   her   hand   in   his.   skin   creaking   against   leather   only   to   ponder   why   he’d   worn   them   in   the   first   place.   about   the   knuckles   they’d   had   their   share   of   wear   ,   miki’s   eyes   holding   there   for   a   moment   until   the   elder   DEMANDS   a   name.   flinching   at   the   urgency   in   his   voice   ,   her   lip   quivers   under   the   sudden   pressure.

                    ❛    SANADA   MIKI   ...    ❜     as   she   speaks   ,   it’s   only   that   above   a   whisper   ;   studying   his   well   put   together   face   as   if   she’d   once   seen   him   in   a   DREAM.   memories   past   ,   BURNING   away   at   her   skin   as   the   scars   on   her   body   simply   itch.   she   wants   to   pull   away   ---   to   RUN.   yet   she   is   bound   there   ,   eyes   searching   in   his   before   she   can   no   longer   hold   on.

                                     SHE   JUMPS   IN   PLACE   ,   pigtails   bouncing   as   she   takes   a   half   step   back   ;   cheeks   rosy   from   the   other   females   touch.   although   glossed   lips   are   quick   to   spread   into   a   sweet   smile   ,   a   hand   reaching   to   boop   the   other   in   return.

While running an errand for the boxing club, Akihiko imagined he could avoid the prefect on his way back to the club room. But now he learned why exactly that rule was installed in the first place, so he could not run into wandering students in his path. As he first slammed into them, his feet caught himself and he was able to hold tight onto his bag so it didn’t scatter to the floor. However, the stranger was hostile and grabbed onto his vest. Something everyone at school knew not to do.

“ H – Hey!! Let go of my vest! ” He yelled in response, the captain smacking his leather gloves down to her hand. “ Don’t you know to keep an eye on your surroundings?! I was just fine until I ran into you! ”

                            PERHAPS   IT   HAD   BEEN   HER   FAULT   IN   THE   FIRST   PLACE   ,   having   been   counting   the   money   in   her   coin   purse   rather   then   having   clear   opals   upward   ;   yet   the   other   had   not   been   without   his   own   faults.   a   frown   pulled   the   corners   of   her   glossed   lips   ,   a   hand   on   her   hip   whilst   the   other   goes   to   JAB   at   his   chest.   stepping   forward   to   try   &   size   the   male   up   --   regardless   of   being   at   least   a   FOOT   or   two   shorter.
