â      â We do not have detention in Japan, Arisato-kun! Although... â
â I could chase him down and force him to hear a stern lecture on the basis of common decency when speaking to a woman. â

He boops back on the nose, somewhat aggressively. Thereâs no winners in this boop war. Only losers. And nose injuries.
ⶠâ to think she was adopted ... though this wasnât formal on paper, she was now living with one arisato minako. mulberry hues flickered to the clock, pausing to watch the seconds go by before frowning; there was school today and arisato-san was a teacher ( well, assistant teacher ). time to check if she was awake. hands dried themselves against the soft fabric of the apron she wore as she headed towards the elderâs room, delicately knocking against the frame. â... arisato-san ? breakfast is ready ? â // @fatesinheritor
â Donât beat up on yourself so much.â

As usual, there was comfort in the words spoken, even if none could be found in the actual situation itself. The air was cold, the moon almost full - for the second time since Shinjiroâs return, truly a fateful sight - looming above the two figures like a warning sign. And for a reason. Truly, the following full moon was sure to reap disaster at its arrival. The Hierophant knew it all too well, and with such knowledge came a burden of unbearable guilt, as well. Yet there she was, speaking ever so optimistically, carrying an aura of consolation around her wherever she went, generously spreading it to those she held dear. Was she aware, that things would not carry on like this forever? He had warned her, many times, not to stick too close to the much moodier holder of the Moon arcana. And still, she always persisted â and despite the fear, the nagging feeling of having not worked harder to keep her away, Minakoâs presence would always be appreciated.
Had she been reading between the lines again, when Shinjiro had spoken? It always seemed that the girl could hear even the slightest hint of negativity in the maleâs words, even when heâd thought he had not said anything too strange or too solemn. Then again, it may have just been that his usual tone always carried some of those characteristics. Such was the talk coming from a young man with years of shouldered guilt and trauma. It becomes a habit, a deep-rooted part of oneâs personality and behavior, visible and audible in oneâs actions and oneâs words. He hadnât meant to worry her again, but as it seemed the mistake had already been made, Shinjiro could only try to come up with something to make up for it.
And thus, instead of his usual brooding, he only lets out a laugh - a weary one, it was easy to tell - but a laugh all the same, in an attempt to slightly ease the atmosphere. These were some of his last days before what he believed to be his departure, did Amadaâs actions line up with his plans and wishes. Thatâs why, it was much better to try and let some light into the otherwise heavy conversation, to make the memories - if not for Shinjiro himself, were he no longer there to remember them - for at least the innocent Fool colored with some semblance of positivity. Memories were important, and the boy wished not to leave mere darkness behind. It simply wouldnât have been fair.
âHahaha⊠Yeah, you've had to listen to me mope around a lot, havenât you? You sure have some patience.â Shinjiro smiles, but feels a little bad at the same time. He looks up at the sky, the moonâs pale white light gently shining down upon the silent Naganaki Shrine. It was getting quite chilly, how long had they been sitting out there again? He could only hope that he was able to leave the conversation on a more positive note. For her sake.Â
ââŠWell, it ainât all bad, is it? Thereâs a place to go back to and people around who care about you. Just make sure to look after all of âem, alright? They all rely on you, and for a good reason.âÂ
