Akihiko had had a hard time at work that day. Dojima made him run errands for him all across the town, having him take notes on a smaller case that they had to finish that day. He then had to take care of piles upon piles of paperwork once he returned to the station and only then would he had been able to go. Although paper work wasn’t his style, he did enjoy running about the town. Then again, it may have been easier using a motorcycle or car to get around then, and only then, would his feet not ache.
While resting in the living room with his legs spread out under the kotatsu, he had a nice can of beer to enjoy. It was bitter, he liked it that way and Dojima wouldn’t mind if he drank a can or two of his stash … maybe. His mind wandered with his eyelids drooping somewhat. He could feel exhaustion getting to him with his hand nodding somewhat. Before he could feel his eyes close, he suddenly felt a kiss of some sort! A loud noise joined it and he sat up straight with a soft noise leaving him. He let his guard down! Looking to his side, Nanako sat with a mischievous grin on her face. Of course she would do this, who else?
“ Hah! Nanako! ” He was more awake now and his arm wrapped around her, bringing her in to hug her tight. “ I thought you were asleep. Did I wake you? ” He commented, pressing his cheek gently on the top of her head. After a soft apology for waking her left his lips, his eyes went back to the sports channel that played on TV. “ … Well, doesn’t matter now, let’s watch some TV ok? ”
