I was thinking- Againā¦
Could Red became a new comingout age movie just as Luca.
I donāt know how the movie will engage in telling a representative story -about a asian teenage girl/(child?) confronting her upcoming fears and anxieties-.
AND ALSO- if it can be used as a an analogy to generational problems, family, relationship issues, livings and/or queer existences.
But it has OBVIOUSLY acceptance and understanding yourself (with the help of friends) energy⦠so�
Not that the movie will be a better version, or even a competition to Luca.
It just seems to me, maybe with my rose colored glasses on, idk if Iām imagining things, that Pixar is currently trying to connect with the recent generations and their problems. Even if the protagonists are from āages agoā or different realities(??).
And yessss, thatās true that itās pure marketing, pink money, interest of companies to fake care to gain more MONEY MONEY AND MONEY.
But⦠I also get a little bit of hope and a heartwarming experiencie after seeing more stories like that.
Here in Brazil, we have a expression:

Itās the type of movie that you can watch any day, any time, in every moment, you still get a nice, wholesome, and enjoyable time every time you watch it. Also, it has somewhat kind of nostalgic energy to it, like a comfort movie, you would feel comfortable with watching it many times as you want, even the same scenes, again and again and again.
I get that sensation when watching Luca.
And I hope that Turning Red give me the same sensation alike.
Like mine youngerself got somehow seen and itās there now, watching the same movie with me, that reflects how she felt, in such complicated stage of life.
Did Sony just Called out to all us monsterfuckers in Venom sequel: Let There be Carnage.
Like⦠Venom is in a Halloween (gay) rave, with people whose (love monsters) are dressed up as monsters and creatures??? Is this a important point to Venoms character development ??!?!

I just realized A romantic poetry so strong in Venom (2018)
Near the end of the film, itās exposed that Venom was eating Eddie's organs
Killing him from the inside.
And thatās the worst betrayal cuz it would be silent, in that way he would never expose it and it's a huge example of abusive relationship: where the person you have romantic involvement with pretends to care about you but uses bad attitude/behavior to destroy you from the inside, unnoticed, but that make you feel bad, and the abusive partner is aware of it.
At the end of the movie, in the rocket scene, Eddie could be burnt alive but not end up dead, Venom could still heal him later and, AGAIN, in this relationship (scene), only Eddie would be hurt and Venom Unharmed.
The parallel of this moment is:
VENOM WANTED TO LEAVE EDDIE'S BODY AND PROTECT HIM COMPLETELY, he decided to sacrifice without even realizing the depth of it.
That is a GOOD example of a Healthier and more correct dynamics.
So, going back to the first statement: While in the initial and abusive experience, we have Venom letting Eddie get hurt, FROM INSIDE ā> In this last scene, Venom saves Eddie from the OUTSIDE, assuming he's the only one who can keep his host safe, not wanting to Eddie get hurt again, learning from it.
Developing so much of the dynamics of these two.
And then I realized, because I was mad about it⦠so, in the sequence, Venom's character development goes all to hell???
In the second movieās pictures, leaked images and official trailers he's extremely aggressive and toxicā¦
ā¦But Then I stopped to think again, isn't that how people behave when they get out of a years, even decades, long toxic relationship?
How would he know the right way to act since he has never been through something like affection or love before?
Venom has always lived based in how to kill and dominate other beings, this sequence will give development to the issue of getting used to healthy a living, the first film was just a brief introduction of what we can see in the future of Eddie and Venom (romantic) relationship.
And Venom have to get used to good, healthy and secure relationships, even if it isnāt in a romantic way.
As someone who lived a long time in unhealthy relationships, it took me some years to understand how to deal with more healthier ones, so I really understand the theme of Let There be Carnage after all.

Eddie completely oblivious: and they were like- in a sorta of psychotic n supportive relationship between a ancient psychopathic murderer and a human flesh symbiote seeker?? A man and a symbiote in a relationship? like it would ever make sense!

Luca š¤ Kikiās Delivery Service
Befriends a Popular character that lives in a Coastal City, that character has ginger/red hair, wears cuffed Bagged Jeans and a White Shirt with Salmon stripes.
That new character develops a bond with the protagonist, which is, at the end of the movie, seen as a supportive ally towards the main characterās āquirksā.
In some way both of these characters resolve the main plot difficulties in these two movies:
They help the protagonists be aware and proud of who they are.
I love the concept of Alberto being Jealous cuz like, they could have made it more subtle but didnāt want to.
To summarize, first we have te initial scene were Alberto presents doubt to the new relationship between Luca and Giulia, there is nothing bad about it at the beginning, itās just strange to him
In the second scene, Alberto start to feel uncomfortable at how Luca and Giulia are progressively getting more close, and maybe Luca, in Albertos perspective, is more interested in Giulia than in spending time with his best friend.
So, thatās a really interesting orientation from this movie, because right after that first two scenes the hints of Albertoās jealousy for Luca start to repeat more frequently (and get more obvious)
I found it really funny like, as a conversation of the producers:
āK⦠theres already two scenes where Alberto demonstrate conflicting emotions about the girl that just entered in this story arc, maybe thatās enough?ā
āNah, add more scenes, we need to make it obviousā
ā Well, ok, here now we just added another scene that implies more of Albertoās perspective, and he is starting to get pissed at the current arc of the movie, I donāt think we donāt need mor-
ā ONE MOREā
ā Wha- But sir thereās already 3 pretty obvious scenes, we donāt need to give it another Alberto jealousy moment againā
ā I want one more scene, THE LAST ONE, and now Luca and the girl get to hold handsā

And thatās it, they couldāve feed us with only one (or two) moments where Alberto show his discomfort to the Giulias approximation towards Luca, and I know that these scenes are important for the plot, but if they wanted it could be less evident to the audience, Pixar wanted to point it out very specifically.
