It was a long shot...but well she had to try something.
Her reflection could only do so much without getting detected. And with the Witch Queen's forces still looking for her, there weren't a lot of options. Elise was on the threshold of complete unconscious before the idea came to her. Fumbling with her sleeve, she began to dig around the folds. Wincing and releasing a strangled sound, forcing herself not to scream, as white hot pain shot through her broken arm when she hit an extremely sore spot. But she kept going careful to not turn her sleeping ghost into a stress ball. Water drained slowly around her, thoroughly soaking her robes, as the waves crashed outside against the cliff side in the distance.
Come on, come on...
It felt like hours before her glove snagged on something; found it. She pulled out a small circular device no smaller than a battery. She never once thought she'd be thanking the Traveler for having a paranoid boss but here she was; silently doing just that. By some fucking miracle Savathun managed to only deactivate it not actually find it, which helped her position immensely. Elise took a shaky breath, her lungs still aching, it took a painfully long time but things were finally falling into place.
It made the torture she went through worth it and now its was time for pay back.
Seeing as her last vision wasn't tampered with by Savathun's brood the timing of the domino effect should have started by now. Mara and Eris were hopefully discovering the codex entries and the few Oculus crystals she had managed to save before she had nuked the fuck out of the Observatory. Hopefully the few notes that she had created about the Deepsight and what was rumored to be in the Pyramid would reach Ikora first. Koellette would more than likely be the spear tip in the Vanguard's operations in the Throne world, unfortunately there was little Elise could do to help her given her current position. And with a smidge more luck, the Hive Runes that Elise hijacked would hinder Savathun's attempts to locate her for a just little bit longer.
Elise may not have been the strongest Warlock in existence but she had a knack for pattern recognition and knowing how to distribute information wisely amongst her allies.
And the bomb she was about to drop...well lets just say she almost pitied the Lucent Hive, almost. Elise had trouble focusing the Arc Energy into just her fingers tips but given her pain riddled state the fact that she could muster up any was miracle enough. But she over shot the amount of energy and temporarily blinded herself, hissing in pain she ended dropping the tracker. However she succeeded in turning it back on and when her sight returned; she smiled weakly at the slow red blinking light.
All she had to do was wait for just a bit longer now...
