âWhoâs sayinâ what Iâd do?â
There it is; the little sadistic beast within McCartney that only clacks its jaws for petty matters is tossed some gristle. He doesnât question why George is biting, sometimes heâs just thrown a bone, especially when the other ladâs rather impassive sensibilities peel away into such rare form. He feels like heâs a thousand degrees, their antics causing him to break out in a  nervous sweat as they hot-box in the booth, their egos rollercoastering around the rails of their soaring brains.Â
âI could read thâheadlines now⊠Jelly Baby Harrison wanted fâer murder of rising pop star,â Paul muses, flexing the fingers of his one hand in a sensational gesture, âAll that was left of âim were âis boots. Course, Iâd âave tâthrow yeâ undâr the bus, yâseeâŠâ
âCarnât be implicated in such matters. Not til the recordâs finished, at least,â he drawls, lazily thumbing at the loopholes of the otherâs trousers, pumping his hips teasingly as if their macabre musings were some fleeting and disgraced form of foreplay, âBut Iâll visit yeâ in thâklink. Sort of riles me up, thâthought of beinâ with a jailbird.â
âAnyroad, how long do yeâ reckon youâll keep me âere like this, yeâ cock-tease? Yâer gonna âave tâlet me go. Yeâ canât keep me from Michael forever,â he growls, doped out dark saucers glinting menacingly, âWould hate to âave to resort tâviolence.â
McCartney suddenly leans forward, grazing his lips along the slope of Georgeâs neck before bestowing a loving nip, one that may bruise slightly, sometime later.
The mere mention of jelly babies, however clever the headline, causes the guitaristâs expression to sour under his mustache as he remembers having to plead for them to stop being launched at his head. The press would do something like that to him, wouldnât they? He can imagine it well: being jerked about by some cop as they muscle through an angry mob outside the jail who are pelting him in revenge for taking their sweet Michael away, not with sticks or stones but with jelly babies. All because of some headline that probably would make it in the paper... if all the other hypotheticals fell into place.
After a moment, the idea gives him a good chuckle, mainly because he cannot stand to dwell on it any further than appreciating the callback to their former career as near circus performers. He steps back into the conversation at the implication that McCartney would ever rat on him, and that earns a snicker as well, though this one is outward as his dark eyes watch familiar lips form the lie. Besides being Beatles and everything that comes with that title, he knows McCartney would sooner join in on evading the law with him than let his little mate from the school bus fry. If theyâd been having this conversation some years earlier, they might be approaching a row right about now, but if one thing has gotten better through all these years, itâs their communication, so there is nothing left between them to be misconstrued and subsequently blown out of proportion.Â
Those pesky thumbs pulling him nearer reminds George that he isnât just a head with (quite weighty) thoughts floating about, but that he does indeed still have a body and with as much grace as he can muster in this moment, Harrison steps into his companion at the silent invitation, bracketing the bassistâs legs between his own and sandwiching Paul against the wall.Â
âIf I carnât keep ye âere, Iâll settle fâer suffocatinâ ye, âowâs that sound, ye randy bastard?â He jokes, voice warm as it seeps out from a lazy and content grin, the bulb of his nose knocking against Paulâs smaller one. Heâs high enough now that heâs lost the plot, content to drop the subject of the budding pop star under McCartneyâs wing if he will-- after all, it seems there are more pressing matters to attend to. The tender nip goes straight to Harrisonâs trousers in a warm jolt, and his mind wanders again, contemplating just how far the farmhouse is from where they stand currently. Heâd be pleased to shuck their clothes right here and get on with it, but something stops him from making that happen. Instead, he launches his own counter, fixing the opposing pout with a deep and frankly needy kiss, a rough palm clumsily feeling around until it can worm its way behind and under Paulâs waistband for a firm grasp on one bare arsecheek.
When he moves away this time, a little dizzy with desire, the guitarist leans backward coyly, his fingers still hooked now at the front of the other ladâs waistband to gently guide him forward. âOr ye could follow me âome...,â He suggests, the curve of his simper all too telling of his true intentions as he slowly shuffles backward toward the door. âSurely we could work somethinâ out between thâtwo of us.âÂ
