I got hives from the emotional stress this game has caused me. For the last two days I have had itching all over my body and after talking to a doctor friend they told me that I have hives. TBH I had never heard of it before today. I don't know anyone who has had hives. At least not to my knowledge. But today for the first time I learned about them and apparently they can happen because of emotional stress. That is how much grief this game and Valko's cancellation has given me. I contracted a condition I have never heard of.

I have been so furious at this game. Just the day that the cancellation was announced, I was brainstorming ideas of what would make LADS better (I am a game dev) and then when antis reacted badly I defended the game even tho my conclusion previously was that it is a badly designed game because hate like this should never set a precedence for anyone. And people were calling him dark??? Meanwhile there is not a single spot on my body that is as pale as that man.

And after that so much happened and now the antis are trying to shift blame away from themselves because they realized actions have consequence and we told you that involvign the ccp will end badly and we now have either a broken game and/or a censored game, which regardless is a useless game to me.

And I poured so much love into this game and it's characters. I cared so much. I deleted the game even tho I miss Rafayel. I want him to talk about his stupid book even tho I always hated that line. And I feel delusional. I feel like I am in a toxic relationship and it has left evidence on my body.

And ultimately I can't reconcile with how stupid this whole thing is. Anti got mad for a stupid reason. They reported to the CCP for a stupid reason. Infold made a stupid decision in cancelling Valko. And now more people are being stupid on main to defend their actions.

To me CN fans will never be clean of their part in all this. As mad and upset as the global fans were about Valko they weren't the ones who reported him to the censorship happy CCP. Only CN players had the power to do that. So they will bear the responsibility.

Ironic thing is for the past few years I have been defending China when people around me talked about them negatively. This game was a major part of why. Researching this game as I was playing and learning about cultural references made me like China. But now I can't even look at this game. I can't even look at the youtube thumbnail of a cdrama I had been anticipating this whole year.

I feel sick. So I am done. I am tired of the infighting. I am tired of Infold's behavior and cowardice. I am tired of the fans. I am not even moving to another otome game. I doubt I will ever play an otome game. It's crazy how one thing can change your perception of something positively and negatively.
