Okay people need to understand that Republican dramas are not historical dramas. They can be but they can also be very anachronistic and that's okay. The point is that dramatically the era has a specific feel that makes Republican Dramas more of a genre than just a setting. They have their own tropes, ways to execute a storyline, character profiles and much more. If you are going to see this as just a historical drama or a short form drama, you are misunderstanding the genre.
