Batman (especially Lego batman) reads as aggressively afamilial to me. Not that he hates people and doesn't like them, but due to fear. He's afraid of losing people like he lost his parents causing him to push people away and not want anyone close. Yes hes avoidant personality disorder and fear plays a huge party of it. But Riddle me this viewers, why would he tell Alfred he doesn't know what it's like having a surrogate son? I don't think bruce even realised Alfred basically adopted/raised him, I don't think bruce saw Alfred as his father until later in the movie.
