@samreich @dropoutdottv @gamechangershow petition to PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE WITH SPRINKLES ON TOP add some sort of playlist feature to Dropout !!!
And/or make it so a show autoplays to the next season and also separate out the behind the scenes episodes from shows like Game Changer so we can just marathon the show itself ?? I would think the playlist feature would be easier to make but I don't know anything
(Also the thing where it closes fullscreen when autoplaying on Google Chrome would be cool if it was fixed)
(Also also I have spotted a few errors in the captions across shows and if there's someone I can directly send those to I'd love to help)
Okay thanks so much everyone, you're all doing amazing, love you kissy kissy

No, turns out the sign on this dungeon was not wrong. This is not a bullet hell, it is a ballet hell.
I’m pliéing for my life in here!
Fake woke wizard after he finds out you’re nonbinary: oh so, cauldron or wand?
Shit man, this wizard war is fucked. I just saw a guy clap his hands together and say "the ten hells" or some similar shit, and every one around him turned inside out, had their tibia explode and then disappeared. The camera didn't even go onto him, that's how common shit like this is. My ass is casting frostbite and level 2 poison. I think I just heard "power word:scrunch" two groups over. I gotta get the fuck outta here.

Dropout 🤝 Starkid
the humor and familiarity of the cast and the small beginnings both started at make you feel a bit parasocial
and more importantly
we know all about the cast which is great they are great but all I want is an interview with the techies okay all I want is to hear what it’s like to be backstage for these types of productions IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK
We are SO CLOSE to a reality in which Brian David Gilbert is a part of a Starkid show and I NEED IT
I love how tactile the new TGWDLM:R choreo is, with the non-infected cast being puppeted around half the time. It really emphasises the lack of agency that the hivemind represents and is so like mmmmmmm fuck yeah, I adore
Charlotte and Sam physically making Paul and Emma do the choreography in Join Us and Die !!!!
(girlish shrieking)
I want to give every member of the Dropout captioning team head. or a firm handshake if they prefer because consent is important
He's just straight up floating at a 90° angle here he can actually do that in real life

the way they’re visually letting emma’s hair come apart throughout the show… she starts with it all up, at the end of act 2 it’s billowing behind her head still holding on, during the almost kiss the lower half is almost completely down… it’s literally moving closer and closer to the way it is during inevitable, which is also the way it is during the opening number… lauren lopez when i catch you!!!
I saw someone else make a note about this as well, with Emma's outfit changing as the show goes on too. First she loses the apron, then the bow comes untied, and simultaneously Paul has lost his jacket and by the time they're at Hidgens' place, Paul and Emma nearly match. Which makes it even more damning that when Paul returns at the end, he's returned to his full original costume, indicating that the Paul that went through this ordeal with Emma is gone.
Watching the tgwdlmr proshot and LMAOOO
Paul: "the idea of sitting there, trapped in a musical, that is my own personal hell"
Audience: *laughs in knowing what's coming*
Okay, but there were some really special moments in this show BECAUSE the audience was familiar with the plot and characters. Obviously there's stuff like this with foreshadowing, but also:
The cast was able to work back into the show themes from the rest of the trilogy. In La Dee Da Dee Day, when the additional cast comes in to join the number we see Lauren dressed as Ruth and Will dressed as Max. Also notable, the interstitial use of the Lords of Black motif (ESPECIALLY the "we will not be resisted")
Any "major" changes were an exciting surprise, like the additional "did you hear the word?" section in the intro [love the Lauren train choreo, btw]
The choreography for many of the numbers was changed, but whenever it was the same, it was even more iconic (like in Show Stopping Number). Also the added chairography with the rolly chairs is iconic
We can hear how much the casts' vocal skills have improved, especially Jeff and Jon!! Jeff's riffing in the intro number is a perfect example.
The moment in the finale number where the spotlight hits Emma and she sees the theater and audience hits so much harder in a big venue like that!!
On a related note, the viewer's preestablished expectations of the characters meant Will had a TALL task as the primary replaced cast member from the original. And boy did he deliver. He fully made the role his own instead of trying to copy/be similar to Robert's performance and did an AMAZING job.
I'm sure I'll think of more (or notice more when I rewatch it for a 3rd time lol)
