THE FIGS ARE HERE!! They have finally showed up in the markets and I am so excited. I love them with a little cheese and wine before dinner but they are also great for dessert. I made these little sundaes when visiting our friends @deliciousandsons at their home in Barcelona last fall. Just top vanilla ice cream (I use non-dairy cashew milk ice cream) with sliced ripe figs and drizzle with Balsamic glaze (we used Delicious & Sons glaze of course) plus a sprinkle of flaky sea salt (I like Maldon brand). This is also an easy dessert to serve at a dinner party.
