Go ahead—tell the families of those 36,000 dead to “not be sad.” Tell the people who were blinded to suddenly “see the light of truth.” Tell everyone to stay home and shut up because the Islamic Republic claims it supports Gaza.

You have absolutely no idea what this regime has done. No understanding of the destruction it has brought to Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Palestine.

Ali Karami was a 26 year old auto repair mechanic who was killed by the Islamic regime during the protests/revolution in Iran on January 8.

I’m reminded again of how kids in Iran, as young as 14, went out into the streets demanding basic human rights and were gruesomely shot and tortured for it.

My friend Sama was killed on January 9th during protests against the Islamic Republic.

Why am I not skiing with friends,

not laughing under the sun

as it glints off the snow?

The snow is alive with light.
