The rest of the format (one page of text, one with an illustration + overall size) reminds me of my beloved "Great Illustrated Classics" series I had when I was 7 or 8. But I could also swear that somewhere in my childhood library was a book or two with a little corner flipbook like this...

Best thing about watching my grandparents cat is that while I'm there I can rifle through the great Quilt Stash and bring out beautiful works of art to sleep under.
