hi hello I’ve been a tumblr resident since 2014-ish... but never rlly got a foothold in the art side of it... I mostly post on insta/toyhouse (links to those if ur on desktop) but would love to get an actual audience here since tumblr is so much more chill lmao.
this blog is only my art! I follow from @fokron , where i reblog other ppls cool art + memes + fandom stuff.
I like to draw my little creature ocs, nature stuff(plants and trees mostly), and do some horror-esque adoptables :-). Lately I’ve had a secondary rainworld oc group, which I think I will be insane for for some time yet. And it’s what’s inspired me to try to post here again.
I always love getting asks of any kind, so I am sure to respond if u bite! (I especially love oc related asks :] and may draw a little something for them too depending!)

More detail tidbits below the cut...
RFF: self proclaimed only 'normal one' of the group. introverted, snippy, sarcastic, but unfortunately does actually give a damn about the rest of her group. has a complex for not causing problems and being self-sufficient, which bites her in the ass later once the ancients are gone.
UIG: rule-stickler and responsibility-driven. Serious yet easily flustered. Volunteered to be acting group senior despite being the second oldest after RORW had a mental break. Gates often feels in over her head with tasks/responsbilities, but enjoys being helpful. Secondary purpose of his structure is his city was designed to house/train the ancient's military and manufacture/store munitions.
EC: youngest of the group. Structure was created for a similar secondary purpose to Nine Promises (as an entertainment/tourism hub) so Nine Promises serves as a mentor role to them. 9P and EC also were made by the same ancient. (EC was actually made to replace 9P for reasons but... neither of them know this initially </3). Excitable, fun-loving, and maybe a bit too forgiving, EC is a people-pleasing and easily pushed around
NP: my favorite freak who the whole plotline is central towards frankly. Cheery jokester of their local group, who has more of a cynical, grim side they tend to hide… drives the rule stickler, responsibility-driven acting senior of their group (Unyielding Iron Gates) crazy. as mentioned previously, NP's structure was designed to be a entertainment/tourism hub! they love parties + playing pranks + socializing with others, and get lonely quickly when nothing is going on... especially since ancients have been visiting their structure less and less of late... Tho NP's fickle and unhinged behavior tends to either charm or anger most other iterators, their stubborn cheer has held the local group through many hardships.
CL: was created as an emotional and structural support for RORW after RORW attempted self-sabotage and self-shut down of their own structure. Very perceptive of others emotions and generally anxiety-ridden himself. Quiet, compassionate, but with a sarcastic side that only occasionally leaps out. With the right topic, CL is very talkative.
RORW: ex-acting senior of the local group, and the eldest of the group. Was always rather disillusioned by the great problem, and as their bitterness towards their place and resentment for the ancients grew... had a mental break where they attempted self-shut-down. This was stopped by the ancients, who had invested waaaayyyy too many resources and individuals into RORW's structure+city to let him do that. post this event, pretty much demands whatever they want of the ancients to give them under threat of 'well I'm gonna KMS if u don't lol'. CL was built very close to RORW as a failsafe/secondary storage and as motivation for RORW not to self-sabotage, as doing so would also affect CL. RORW has a love for plants and fashion, and is a jokester to a lesser degree than NP, but definitely enjoys some drama/creating problems. Demeanor is sarcastic and grim with a great amount of morbid humour. RORW is generally extroverted, at least when it comes to other iterators, and is the type of guy who enjoys arguing for the sake of arguing.

Hi welcome to me talking about my guys.
(I'll preface this by saying, in my oc headworld (pippaf), the dominant species are called "creatures" and all creatures can shift at will between fragile (humanoid) and primal (animal forms), the primal forms seen herer.)
The blue one is my favorite, their name is Amek (21, they/he). And by favorite i mean i emotionally torture them the most <3. Amek's species are called Storm Spirits, they are shapeshifters, but think of them more like dittos. they can't significantly change their color, eye-shape, or markings. they can voice/sound mimic tho! Storm spirits typically have weather magic. Storm spirits are a rare species, nearly hunted to extinction due to prejudice and their association with the god of chaos, Okkjuk. Amek's full name is actually Ameokk, after getting "adopted" by September, she gave him the nickname Amek, not wanting to unsettled others with the Okkjuk themed name. Amek is a long way from his original home, but he wouldn't consider it home anymore, even if he wanted to. I realized
I realized i haven't spoken of their personality at all. Amek is an upbeat goofy silly guy, he is a charmer and loves entertaining a crowd. He is very good at acting, his job requires him to.
the black cat is August (19, he). Amek is August's adopted brother. He is a prince but his mom (september) hates him bc she's ableist but also she sucks in general. August likes art and painting, and crowds make him very nervous, having been discouraged from going outside for much of his childhood. He also loves loves books, especially history and romance.
the picture on the left of him sitting he's 16 actually, bc i drew his proportions wrong. and all the pics where he has the torn ear and eyescar he's around 22. It's from an assassination attempt :- ). Oh yeah August's species r called spinecats. They're like cats but what if spines and posable tails and maybe some bug-like traits.
The doggy looking thang is Hyun (17. she/he). She is rabid and unhinged but probably the sweetest of my ocs, next to August. Like a rough kind of sweetness. His species is called Keyhorn, because keyhorns store their magic in their horn (magic energy is called 'keyaa'). As you can see, Hyun's horn was broken by a meaner :-( , this guy is called chrrris and he sucks. Hyun's magic is permanently weakened by this, but he is an optimistic bugger, don't worry.
Hyun was raised by these wild animals (not creatures) called night yips (imagine a wolf if it was as smart as a parrot and upright like a gorrila and the muzzle of a sawfish and rabbit ears). She also masqueraded as a local god so that she would get offerings from the local village. Then she lived in a cave for a bit. Don't worry about it.
honeslty if the (fictional) relationship dynamic isn't even a little bit codependent and fucked up whats the poooooint . non-romantic relationships ABSOLUTELY included.

if yellow baby scavenger was born without an arm, would a prosthetic actually help? like, babies learn pretty fast and being born without a limb means you never had it in the first place so you dont have the muscle memory of what you're missing, as opposed to having one then losing it.
yellow baby scav (Dawn) was born with both arms :-). She loses part of her right arm later (tho i haven't decided how that happens or how old she is when that happens yet)

One of my scavenger ocs, Dawn! ('Dawn Crying Fire', she/her). she is the grown up ver of the baby scav I was posting earlier :]!
notes/other thoughts undercut
A good friend of my iterator oc, Nine Promises (who she has known since she has been a baby. 9P kinda somewhat raised her).
Not the leader of her scav group (called 'blue sky above') but well up there / well respected
one of the smartest/most efficient in crafting bombs, spears, armor, bags, and other tools. Loves to share her technology knowledge (esp stuff 9P has introduced her to) and teach other scavs. Has a bit of a problem of instead of properly explaining her emotions will just gift scavs(or 9P or slugcat friends) lots of tools and bombs as an explanation for everything. Who doesn't love bomb? Bomb go boom. Bomb solve all problem.
Very competitive. it can be a bit of a problem. Girl loves playfighting and making games out of things.
Kinda blunt. Generally means well, but can come off cold bc of this smtimes. Opinion and stubborn, usually sticks hard to opinion and can be hard to get her to admit she's wrong if she actually is wrong.
isn't the most expressive facially, so even other scavs a bit intimidated by her at first
Scav naming conventions/language
I'm pretty sure there isn't any canon regarding scavenger naming conventions (or language in general). I'm going with a predominately sign based language that is accentuated vocally smtimes.
Scav's when born, start with one name (given by parents), they get a second name once reaching adulthood, and a third name when middle/late aged. rarely, scav's live long enough to receive a fourth name.
Friends of a scav refer to them by their first-given name (Dawn), those who are acquaintances but not very close will use second name. Not close individuals/those of different clan will use whatever the last name is (if the scav is old enough to have a second/third name). Scavs generally introduce themselves by full-name. When showing respect/deferring authority to another scav, scavs will be referred to by their full name.
The blue one is named Kekebbhaukr and the pink one Haertaana.
Haerta is like a grumpy old man cat whose "must groom kitten's fur" instincts kicked in and kekebb is the barely not a kitten anxious as hell babyguy who's been thru horrors he doesn't deserve.
Nine Promises needs to remember to go somewhere they won't be disturbed by little creatures when they take snooze....
some context/trivia below cut:
9P is fully disconnected from their structure after it got partially destroyed (among other plot happenings...)
9P travels with a backpack they made bfr their structure was destroyed (since they were forewarned) with 7 modified neuron flies, compressed to hold much more information/processing power than the standard neuron flies.
^^^ a lot of that (+ how 9P charges their puppet batteries) was directly inspired by Backwards Through The Snow on AO3.
Idk if I want iterators to actually be able to snooze... but I imagine Nines still wants to rest and put their 'brain' in stasis occasionally haha and having their neurons all stuffed in a bag maybe isn't comfortable.
(+ ik just... grabbing a neuron alone isn't canon to actually hurt iterators (but ofc eating it is LOL) but for the purposes of angst I'm pretending it does here... these are modified neurons too so maybe idk idk).
