baram is unaffected by jump scares and thrillers. his biggest fear losing his sister has haunted him ever since he could remember. but there was one time in particular that left his blood running cold. it was a routine doctor's visit. nothing out of the ordinary. he woke up like any other day of sleep. he had breakfast gave his sister a hug and made his way to school. when he got home his mother rushed him into the car his sister trailing behind him. they had a doctors appointment at five and the only had thirty minutes to get there. the reason being is baram didn’t want to miss any of his sisters doctors appointments. and the family had made a promise early on that if it could be helped he was to be taken into consideration when the appointment was made. he followed his mom and sister out to the car so they could make the drive up there. he sat in the back alone with his textbook that he managed to grab before making it to the car. the drive wasn’t long, but it wasn’t like the office was right around the corner. he was able to finish up his required reading by the time they made it to the office with 5 minutes to spare. he jumped out leaving the textbook on the seat as they walked into the office so his mom could sign in his sister. they waited patiently as his sister was called back for an x-ray and MRI. by now he’s become used to it. ever since he could remember his sisters been sick. doctors visits became routine. but he had a bad feeling about today. something seemed off and and he was suddenly afraid. after a thirty minute wait his sister comes back and sits down next to him. ten minutes later a doctor comes out and calls them back to the office. his anxiety and fear is tenfold by the look in the doctors face. he gets up and follows his mom and sister holding her hand.

he stands in front of the company waiting on the van to come around and pick him up. as the van pulled up he hoped in as it rolled to a stop. it’s been 10 day since he’s done a performance and he was ready to go home. breaks although nice led to a rude awakening when you had to go back to work. and to add to the slump he’s fallen in he was also missing his sister after seeing her. he sits in the backseat quitely seeing as it’s to early to talk. he almost feels like falling back to sleep but refrains not wanting to give his staff trouble this early. as the pull up he takes in the venue of the asia song festival. he gets out and follows his manager as they lead him to his dressing room. he sits on the couch waiting for his stylist and makeup artist to set up so he can prepare for his performance. one thing about his stylist and makeup artists is that they work fast and well under stress. and he’s grown used to their presence and he tries to make time go by slower. they have full conversations and if he’s honest he’s happy they’re there. they remind him of his sister.

after finishing up with makeup artist he heads over to the stylist so she can give him his stage outfit. he dresses quickly and makes his way backstage to see the other artist perform. something he secretly loves doing. he never wanted to become an idol so others never appeared to be a threat to him. he was ready to give up his dreams after k-pop star 3. his loyal fans were enough. but dimension gave him a second chance and he couldn’t be more thankful. he had bigger things to worry about then how popular he was. and when his fellow labelmates were joining he couldn’t help but be happy. he watched as the others performed and was so captured by their performances that he startled when his manager tapped on his shoulder motioning for him to follow a staff member. he followed them and walked out on stage leaving the staff member behind. he took a seat at the piano and looked out at the crowd. as the background music began to play he starts to hit the first few notes of 20-something. out of his discography 20-something was by far baram’s favorite. it really speaks to him. unable to relate to songs about romance baram is happy he has one song that handles growing up. he knows that all too well. another reason to love it was the piano. he felt at home with the piano. when he was playing nothing could hurt him. and soon he’s left letting the final notes ring out in the large arena. as the crowd applause. he smiles and waves and prepares for his next set “la la”. the cheers die down as the music begins to play. he stands on the stage with the mic in his hand.

his schedule was light this month. and while he was thankful for this he also knew that something big was most likely in store. he was walking home from a meeting with his manager  about his schedule for the month when said man took a piece of paper and handed it to him on his way out. his manager handed him the slip of paper telling him to at least look at it as if he wouldn’t on his own. he took it out and looked at the top. an audition. oh how the companies loved auditions. this time for a reality show. something he’s never done. and if he was being honest, he was suddenly nervous. why would his manager give him the orders to audition for a reality show? he was no variety king. he was a pretty face, if you could even say he had one.

he walked into his apartment and plopped onto his couch. he stared at the piece of paper before deciding he wouldn’t let his manager down. he pulled out his phone and turned on the video camera holding it out at arms length and pressed record. “hello my name is han baram and i’m a soloist under dimension. i currently live on my own in a two bedroom apartment.” he said as he turned the camera so he could show off his apartment. “right now where in the living room and if you keep walking straight you’ll walk into the kitchen.” his apartment by no means was a luxury apartment, but it was spacious and just enough room for him. and considering his parents where paying for it he was grateful. he walked into the kitchen and did a pan of the room as he moved down the hallway to his bedroom.

◦ baram currently lives in a two bedroom apartment in close proximity of the company. it’s in a populated area of seoul and he has no complaints.

◦ it is paid for by his parents and he is incredibly grateful that their financing his living arrangements despite still paying for his sister's medical bills.

◦ it’s no luxury apartment but it is big enough for him and maera the only other living being staying in his apartment.

◦ he has his bedroom that is at the back of the house and the largest of the two rooms. and he has a designated guest bedroom that doesn’t really see any guest.

◦ baram is incredibly clean. he doesn't like mess and he's always been like this. his apartment is organized and everything has its place.

◦ his room has white walls and pictures scattering the wall above his desk. the desk is plain except for his laptop and a couple of books and albums he collected over the years on a shelf above it. also on the shelf he has a picture of him and his sister days after their kidney transplant surgery. on his walls he has multiple pictures of his family and friends. one of his favorite being after a cello recital posed in the middle of his parents with his sister right next to him. and his bed has a red plaid comforter with a black fitted sheet and red pillows.

◦ something he wishes to get some day is a piano, but for now he has a small musical keyboard in the corner of his room. he feels incredibly attached to it. it’s the closest thing he has

◦ baram grew up in a family that was extremely close. there would be nights he didnt even sleep in his room. Instead you would find him laying under a blanket fort with his sister.

◦ you would barely find him in his room. he spent most of his time in the living room doing homework, practicing the piano, or watching a movie cuddled up to his sister.

◦ he’s found it incredibly hard when it comes to adjusting to living on his own. but he’s grown used to it over the last year. he does get let lonely, but when that happens he just chooses to get out of his apartment. lucky for him during comeback season he doesn't spend much time in his apartment anyway.
