Consider, in Flyte, when we first learn about the Ice Tunnels, they are unknown to pretty much everyone but the Chief Hermetic Scribe, as I recall not even Marcia knew about them, and even Alther was only vaguely aware of them. So, how the heck did Simon Heap, and - for that matter - Una Bracket, come to know about them, how to navigate them, and how to access them?

I propose that DomDaniel (who we know from Darke Toad was somewhat talkative, even as a fleshless skeleton) told Simon about them, and knew them so well because, as an ExtraOrdinary Apprentice he lost the Wizard Tower Sled and spent, as Beetle suggests in Queste, a lot of time down there looking for it.

When you think about it, it kind of has to be DomDaniel who told him, the only other possibility for Simon, at this point, was Hugh Fox, and - well - while we know he knew the Tunnels, I doubt he knew how to navigate them, plus he wasn't fully onboard with the return of DomDaniel anyway, so would likely have kept stuff like that secret.

Tertius Fume is, to me, the worst one

He's not just evil, he betrayed his friends, and is just really annoying to all of the characters. i know DomDaniel is techniclaly the big villan but fume is, honestly, smarter and more awful to be around imo

I'm not sure how many of you are on reddit, but recently many subreddits have been calling for twitter/x links to be banned due to elongated muskrat's """"awkward gesture""""

I'm not going to comment on whether twitter links should be banned on any subs, but the response of one of the mods on r/lordoftherings is unacceptable.

The amount of comments saying "based" or "joining for this/guess I'm a lotr fan now" is appalling. Granted, the top comments are critical, but there were many more from people supporting/laughing at this decision.

Any of the mods had the opportunity to present their opinion in a rational way, but chose to do so using a meme that is little more than an inc*l dogwhistle. Decision aside, they handled it incredibly poorly.

(Also this is the fandom with the best "no" meme possible, and THIS is what they chose?!)

It is abundantly clear that, at best, they do not take the concerns seriously.

N*zi apologists and sympathisers are also fucking N*zis. End of story. It's disgusting how many people either support it or don't care enough to oppose it.
