had another idea for my new favourite comic, the Eridian Welcoming Committee by @justcakethanks

With Eva Stratt trending right now, I keep thinking about her meeting the Eridian Welcoming Committee (EWC), getting the most off the wall card, and proceeding to give them lessons in every language she knows. What an icon.

Grace would just be in the background shaking his head. The EWC would still send him funny cards but they’d be 100% intentional.

The phrase for remembering how to tighten screws (righty tighty - lefty loosey) I read has a Spanish version “The Right oppresses, the Left liberates”. Not sure how EWC would get that, but I like it.

Wow I didn't know that! I just looked it up and for anyone else who is curious, it's "la derecha oprime, la izquierda libera"

I feel that again this might be too much for our poor committee lol. They can barely manage english, let alone different earth languages!

That being said, if any non-english speakers ever want to make a different language version of this, that would be amazing!

I know spanish but not sure if I know it well enough to make one. Hmmm!

Hilarious thought: in opposition to the welcoming committee is the bio team, who maintain Grace's food supply and atmosphere, a group of dead serious professionals who have to work around those idiots in the welcoming committee and have no idea how the honoured star saviour can put up with those twits...

I think the reason the ewc gets away with their antics is Grace is the only one who suspects their missives are anything but helpful/polite/respectful/etc
