What does it mean to be #american? What does it mean to be #black? What does it mean to be a #man. What am i first What am i last How can I be all 3 #aware and #proud How should a aware Black Man American feel about the #confederate cemetery across the street? Monuments of false greatness. The spires of the supremacy that held mine enslaved captive! The supremacy that hid my heritage from me. The supremacy that's still wants to oppress me. How should I feel. I'll tell of pray the fires of hell burn hot with the souls of their dead. I pray the descendants of these people see them for who they are, acknowledge the evil and move forward into truth and light! I pray those who look like me dead, living, and yet to come can find peace. Do I make you uncomfortable with my blackness and truth? GOOD! It's uncomfortable to be Black and know the Truth! To be mocked by these monuments. To be mocked by their false religion. To be labeled a descendant of ham equal to the beast of the field. from their pulpits. I embrace it I own it. I am the beast that watches... waits outside the glow of the fire. I have grown stonger from the cold! My eyes are sharper from the dark! I am the beast that thinks! I am the beast they will never control. I am the beast known as man with the soul of a panther. They are tamed by their egos and lies. I grow stronger from the struggle while they grow weak in privilege. I will take mine in America! I will infiltrate the system and make it work for me. I am a King of the Beast this world is my kingdom my manifest destiny. I will own it all and nothing at all. (at Marietta, Georgia)
