{   â   ⌠  â   }   â   Violet City reminds him of home. Itâs comforting when heâs so far from Kalos, though heâs glad to have made the journey here. Johto is a calm region, for the most part - but then, he tends to avoid trouble as much as possible.
Itâs night by the time he arrives in Violet City, as is his usual luck. Thereâs nowhere he can stay the night ( as far as heâs aware ) , so Quin is already preparing a mental list of supplies he needs to purchase before continuing on - though to where, heâs unsure yet.
For now, Quin makes his way to the Sprout Tower. As with every time he visits, heâs immediately struck by the deep strength within the tower, and he knows how easy it would be to get distracted by the pillarâs swaying. He avoids that, instead following the walkway along to settle himself against one of the walls â
â and sure enough, a Ghastly drifts over before too much time has passed, and heâs smiling as he offers it a berry. Only when he hears footsteps does he pause, the Ghastly licking his hand going unnoticed now that Quinâs possibly been caught. âIâm not intruding, am I? The Elder has never had an issue with my presence.â
THE TOWER, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT, is peaceful. itâs calm and quiet compared to when trainers battle the sages to reach the top â the way the pillar sways methodically ; the way it feels untouched by time â itâs quaint atmosphere is soothing, in a way. even with all the ghost pokĂŠmon around  ( though, perhaps heâs grown used to them due to his close friendâs specality with the type ) , sprout tower has a unique effect that makes it an oddly relaxing place to visit after a long, rowdy day of pokĂŠmon battles.
upon entering that night, itâs easy to tell the atmosphere is different â he isnât alone, and itâs more than the ghostly presence of pokĂŠmon. he can hear a disturbance among the pillarâs groan ; the sound of footsteps. surely all the sages have gone home so thereâd be no one for a trainer to challenge, driving falknerâs curiosity. he follows the extra set of feet that echo the walls until he discovers another mingling with the ghosts and heâs pleasantly surprised: heâs seen trainers come to fight the ghosts before, but it was a rare occurrence to see someone interacting with them as such.Â
falker offers a peaceful smile and shakes his head in response to the strangerâs inquiry.Â
â not at all, iâm simply surprised to see someone else here so late. â he explains, â you know the elders? have you been here before, then? i canât say i recognize you... â
