Don't be what they made you

Being the son of Batman, Robin picked up his mentor's tendency to always put his role as a hero and mission for the greater good ahead of everything else. Although Robin has allowed himself to relax and spend downtime with his friends, his main focus and responsibility always came first and foremost. Robin's emotional struggles were always a major plot point in Teen Titans, wanting to be a good hero and friend while always struggling to find a balance within himself.

It still shocks me to realize his love for Starfire was also caught in the mix, but it does make sense. Like his mentor before him, Robin faced romantic struggles. It wasn't just he was scared to confess his feelings or fear of damaging their friendship, but he partially suppressed his feelings for Starfire! Apart of him believed if they went any further and took their relationship to beyond friends or teammates, it would jeopardize his responsibilities and duties as a hero. I never realized this was also a struggle for Robin until the movie revealed it! And not only was this issue revealed in the movie, but it also forced Robin to face it at the same time!

The movie finally forced Robin to face this internal struggle and ask himself the big question he had long been avoiding: Can he have both? Can he still be a hero and be in love at the same time?

The events that followed after Robin initially rejected Starfire; being framed for murder, disguising himself, going on the run etc, but really it was the truth about Commander Daizo; He was so obsessed about wanting to be a hero that it actually made him the villain in the end. The revelation of Daizo put everything into a clear perspective for Robin. It helped him understand and realize the importance that even a hero can and must need a personal life, otherwise it can too much, consume them or fall from grace as Daizo did.

With this new understanding/realization, Robin finally let go of everything that had been holding him back, allowing him to take a break, heal his emotional wounds, but most importantly of all... it lead to the moment that everyone had been waiting for 5 long seasons where he could finally be with the girl he loves! Starfire!

Batgirl in GOTHAM KNIGHTS

The previous, and widely popular Dashboard Unfucker script that uses Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey doesn't work anymore. It's probably because the script was for Tumblr users getting the godawful Twitter dashboard as a beta experiment, and relied on disabling the flag signaling you were part of the beta, or shuffling features around. That solution doesn't work anymore. I tried every version, uninstalled XKit, etcetera. Since Tumblr rolled out the awful Twitter dashboard as a site-wide change, the previous infrastructure the extension relied upon has collapsed. But fear not! Here's a new solution:
