Collider has interviewed Michael Ouweleen, the current head of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.

Ouweleen is trying to manifest the conditions for original shows again, and knows that people do not want to see endless reboots. If the original creators want a reboot, he'll be open ears, much like with Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, Foster's Funtime, and the still hypothetical "PPG 202X" and Lars of the Stars. Collider does bring up the former in the article, but Ouweleen did not comment on that one.

My Adventures With Superman is doing well, and he considers putting it on Adult Swim's Toonami block a successful move.

2027 will be a "banger year" for Adult Swim originals, in his words, "maybe the most number of half-hour originals that we've done in the last decade."

He does acknowledge that there is less and less "kid stuff" going on when asked a question about how a new creator could get on Cartoon Network. He does not say much about Cartoon Network, the channel, in general.

Toonami originals are still a thing, and it's too early to talk about what is coming, but he and Jason DeMarco are "conspiring a bit".

The big announcement: an animated adaptation of Conan the Barbarian, directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and coming to Amazon Prime.

An animation test and concept art for Yokoso Scooby-Doo was shown off. This one is coming to Tubi in the US.

While we are still in the dark about Hanna Barbera Europe's other Craig McCracken reboot (if it even still exists), Foster's Funtime for Imaginary Friends had a trailer revealed at the panel. The trailer is not available to the public yet.

Two episodes of Adventure Time: Side Quests were screened. This is coming on June 29th on Hulu.

We're getting a new Adventure Time miniseries: Adventure Time: Bubblegum & Marceline. This will come to HBO Max and will be 10 episodes long. Warner released a press release about it, which can be found here.
