This came to me in a dream....

Being a d&d player with a fairly fantasy-esque name is very fun but my god it gets confusing.

I play d&d at a pub in town with this massive group and the pub allows us to have this side room and were all sat on these tables playing our quests in smaller groups.

Now last Monday the group behind me were going after their bbeg and the DM (who I hadn't met previously) had chosen my name (I assume subconsciously) as his bbeg.

Now this is all fine, obviously, except I was the table next to them. So literally every time the bbeg was mentioned I was whipping me head round like 🙂‍↔️ hello?! You called? You're talking about me?!

The last show has ended, so I'm sharing some photos and pictures I took. These are from the Halloween performance. The first time I watched, I wasn't clear where I could take pictures during the curtain call, so I was quite surprised to capture these. It wasn't until the second time I watched that I asked a friend and found out where the curtain call part that allowed photography was. Since I managed to get some stage designs and the actors, I didn't post them earlier. Now that it's over, I think it's okay to share them here.

I attended a 1950s murder mystery tonight

I'm followspotting for my local pantomime this weekend. And I had to briefly leave the tech box to get myself a bottle of water (normal human behaviour). And tried to get back in and, oh no! I've forgotten the code. So I texted the panto group chat to be like hey gang, what's the code to the tech box am trapped outside. And an ensemble cast member texted back to say "we're not allowed to know the code." Yeah, YOU'RE NOT. I am fucking am, you fucking lemon, I'm up here all the time.
