I’m really not proud of how this turned out. It was my first time writing interpersonal conflict, and I totally fumbled it. the dialogue was so bad that i just got rid of it entirely. I will take the lessons i learnt from writing this into my future comics though.

maybe bruce can no longer look him in the eyes and neither can alfred. meal times aren't fun anymore because bruce stopped talking to him and he doesn't listen to jason anymore beyond making a "hm" noise every now and then. jason lives in constant fear and anxiety to the point of his body literally physiologically showcasing symptoms of those emotions-- his stomach always hurts, his head aches, his heart beat never slows down. he feels sick. he can't eat. he's always cramping.

he struggles to enjoy his classes and his teachers pick up on it but they never say anything because he's bruce wayne's child. he has nobody to talk to about how he's feeling because the kids at school dislike him. he has no hero friends. clark was always dick's hero so he doubts superman would want to help, especially since this is all jason's fault.
