"Yeah I can see right through your bullshit good sir," she said before rolling his eyes at how he was not making it obvious that he was checking out her ass. She figured he was just joking so she let it go. "yes, equals is good. Plus I’m not really sure where to go, that’s why I asked you remember,"

To be fair, I said I didn't know either. 

"I thought you were supposed to be escorting me to the bar mister." she said with a smirk as she walked ahead of him. "Or are you just trying to look at my ass?" Adella teased.

*Loudly sighs* Am I that transparent? *Unabashedly checks out her behind before walking next to her* We can walk together, be equals or something. Is that better?

     The usual look of boredom and unamusement was quickly replaced with a flash of shock across her features. Least to say that she was shocked at the comparison. And what made it more surprising was how fresh the feeling of ‘learning how to ride your bike’ wasn’t as distant as it should have been. Growing up in an overprotective household, activities like this which could possibly get her run-overed were rare. In fact, Gina had only learned how to ride a bike the previous year with the help of a small group of friends (How embarrassing would it have been for more than five people to figure out that she hadn’t known how to ride a bike without training wheels?) and now she couldn’t get enough of it. Whether it was the bike she was building, or the motorbike she’d manage to get after a year of labour to be able to afford it. The feeling was addicting just as the speed was. 

For a moment Liam basked in the internal glory he felt, certain he had impressed the girl. What made him so certain wasn’t anything more than his little rule; ‘who wouldn’t be impressed?’ For all he knew she was an exception to that rule of his, but during the short-lived moment Liam did not care. What he did care about, though, was the second challenge that was thrown at him. Faster? Faster? Than him? Now there was a phrase Lightning hadn’t heard in a long time – and no one had ever been as serious as the girl standing before him seemed to be. Lightning wouldn’t admit it, but he was intrigued by the notion, although he considered it impossible; or at least highly improbable. The competitive side of him started to emerge, his showoff complex taking a backseat, as he walked closer to her. “Okay, let’s make this interesting. Care for a little wager?” Like he said, impossibly improbably -- or something -- Lightning was sure he'd win; that wasn't a gamble if you asked him.

Willow scoffs before laughing loudly, her voice fading from his ears until her voice was unheard of him as well. She whips out her phone, recording him sing as she walks closer beside him, but not too close as in case that she is invisible, and that he might sense her. She didn’t realise that her phone was floating around though. Fortunately, she got a few clips of him already, and saved on her phone. 

Lightning, thinking he was alone, paid attention to little else in his surroudings. It would be hard to with an ego as large as his, anyways -- even to something as strange as a floating phone. Then it was time for the best part of the song; this was his jam after all! Liam began to belt the lyrics as he continued to dance.

{shrugs uncomfortably} Yeah, but that was the past. {smiles slightly} Most people are much more comfortable with me being mutant. You?

*Regrets asking, he should start to think about what he says* When I was young, everyone seemed cool with it. *Half smiles* Wouldn't be surprised if my parents vetted every single person I met prior, though. *Smiles more* Hey, that's why we're all here, right?

As he finally made his legs have feeling again, Shiloh looked over Liam with bright eyes. Shiloh always admired everyone else’s powers. “Wait is it”? He titled his head, not quite getting his joke. A small sigh then escaped his lips. “My mutation sucks. It’s microscopic vision. Not really impressive as yours. Can’t really do anything cool with it.”

Liam’s hands were up in the air as soon as Shiloh was finished talking, “Wait, wait, wait — hold everything!” Not that there was anything that needed to be paused at the moment, anyways, the boys not even having left the dorm yet. “How microscopic we talking here? Can you see like… cells? You can see those with a microscope, so you can see that right?” And suddenly Liam’s interest peaked, he was certain there was a lot Shiloh could do. Being as bad as he was with sciences, though, Liam had no idea if that was true or not.

How fast he actually was, that was a common question -- hell, that was a question he was asked even when driving a car. It was the girl's second question that caught Liam off guard, though. What do you feel like right now? Liam couldn’t remember the last time someone asked him that after seeing his talent; usually the interest in his mutation far surpassed anything else he offered. Of course, it never bothered Lightning when people seemed to only be interested in his mutation; the attention fed his ego all the same. After a moment of shocked passed over, Liam closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he was using his mutation, especially when running, it was easy to describe how he felt. Calm, like he was moving at his natural pace. When Liam wasn’t going fast, there seemed to always be an anxious feeling gnawing at the edges of his mind; which could often be observed in the speedy tap of his foot, or some other subconscious movement. Immediately after, though, the feeling of calm remained, but it never lasted long. Now he felt another feeling. 

*Holds up hands* Wait a second -- you don't know what Iron Chef is?

{ahahahaha tralalaing} {chuckles} Not at all, many of my friends are like that. They always want to watch me practice, but fortunately they’re more curious and have good morales when watching me instead as misplacing me as some sort of freak show.
