SDCC '16 | MCU Updates :: A lot smaller than I thought it'd be, but I'm onboard with anything X-Men related possibly being pushed back to D23... Ghost Rider: Super sold on Ryan being the lead. Anyone complaining about Robbie Reyes being pushed out clearly doesn't understand that there are more than one Rider. Robbie Reyes' character is not the same guy as...whoever Ryan is most likely going to play... BP3: Stoked. I'm a Shuri hater (read as; I think the actor is a douchebag). I want all kinds of Secret War shenanigans and if they age this kid up instead of recasting T'challa, so be it! Endgame Encore: Sounds like this will be the added info that I've been craving to justify DOOM. I think I'm now sold on the rushed push from Kang to this storyline...but I'm still praying and hoping that they don't make it an RDJ movie........keep that mask on for 98% of the movie. Release Schedules: I am officially on the "I don't care/trust any of these" wagon. Until the theatre tickets are in my hand, I can't get excited about this stuff anymore. It's been almost two decades of shuffling and hype and dropped plans. ESPECIALLY after what happened with Blade, Eternals dropping out of sight, Midnight Sons....I don't trust roadmaps anymore. Overall, I'm hopeful for the future of the MCU. I'm one of those fanboys that's liked 90% of what they've released, so I'm just happy that we're keeping this train on the tracks.
