Aside from regular and dominant parasites, there are defective ones. Their hosts bring a LOT of trouble to the Cult due to their unstable behaviour (Ramón was almost killed by one of them).

Each case is unique, and studying every parasite is kind of useless, so it's easier to simply get rid of such people. This made some of them try to hide and act like the other ganados as a way to survive.
