You know, I tend to like background characters with little screentime and personality quite often. I meanโฆ Verdugo is a very cool boss. Definately one of the most memorable enemies in the whole franchise for me.

I started the second part of my (extremely frustrating) verdugo studies, and I present to you, my rendition of the jaw!
I spent a reaaaaallllly long time flipping between reference images of the open and closed mouth and I nearly lost my mind trying to figure out how everything folded. BUT! I managed to make SOME sense of it I think!
These are just a few potential ideas for the placement for all those unnecessary mouth pieces! Iโm not entirely sure what that bottom โchinโ part is, but Iโm thinking maybe itโs the chelicera folded in a way so that the fangs are hidden?
I also noticed this littleโฆ maxilla? Iโm not actually sure what it is (someone who knows bugs can PLEASE chime in here), but itโs something? Maybe!?
Anyways, the more I look at this thingโs mouth, the more I feel like the designers just took every insect mouth part they could think of and made an amalgamation of it. Itโs honestly a miracle thereโs not a proboscis thrown in there too!
