i’m not gonna move on from emily talking about her death and what she felt before going after doyle on her own now, 15 years later. i mean i literally wrote a one shot set this season about her trauma from doyle a few weeks ago, so to have the show acknowledge that it’s still a part of her and, fifteen years later, address part of her trauma, is monumental to me. i could spend decades writing about emily and her experience & trauma from everything surrounding doyle specifically, i’m so passionate about it, and the show… hasn’t forgotten it like they usually do. it’s insane.
