Empathy burnout is so real im tired of understanding people

Soooo tired of understanding everyone. When is it my turn? I’m always the giver always the first to apologize always the first one to reach out. Like I’m going through shit too. I wear my heart on my sleeve and have a plethora of empathy which gets me taken advantage of quite frequently. Fucking fuck.

i love that in dan’s video when he starts talking about phil, when he says “obviously, we were more than friends,” you see that small slight smile come across him. i can’t imagine how fucking good it felt to say that into a camera after all these years. to basically lay down everything down and express the love and appreciation you have for that one special person in your life. and you can see it all so clearly in that little smile when he says it. it must have felt incredible to take that little step that meant so much to him
