It’s crazy to think how long I have been away from this place.
Life has been crazy lately. I had never imagined that I would have abandoned this blog, and always planned on continuing to update my page.
Maybe I’ll come back to it one day when I have the time.

Ailiana only nodded, biting her tongue in hopes to conceal the whole truth. By the look of Phoenix's relaxed body, the daughter of Apollo could tell the Phoenix wanted Ailiana's back story...and that Phoenix knew she would find out some way to get it out.
The redhead began looking through her belt, which was adorned by various black cases-- Cases for what? Ailiana swallowed; she wished she knew. Phoenix pulled out something... it was small and metal, with some kind of design that looked vaguely familiar to the poet. The girl threw the object, letting it strike a rain gutter. "Batman had those made for us," she explained.
Batman... The writer had heard that name before, through both the streets and dark alleys, each said in a different tone of voice. "If you don't mind me asking...um, who is Batman, exactly?... Is he your president?"
Phoenix couldn't help but let out a laugh as her hand flung up to cover her mouth.
"I'm sorry. No no, he isn't our president...far from that actually." She finished her laughing fit and took in a deep breath. "Batman is more like, the police I suppose. Although even those two have a...complicated relationship. I suppose you can say Batman is like my boss. We patrol the streets here trying to minimize the trouble." Phoenix tried her best to explain who Batman was without giving it too bad of an after taste.
"Where did you say you were from?" She asked curiously. Was she even from the country?

"You don’t want this zombie attacking you in the night!" She laughed pulling her messy hair out to the sides before pulling it into a pony tail. It was always a reassuring thought that she did have a place where she knew she was safe.

"Hm… let’s go all the way. Full pan." Tess smiled.
"Alright, one big ole pancake coming right up." He grin dumping a load of batter into the pan and allow it to settle on the stove.
"Were you out late too?" She asked as he continued cooking holding her head up with her hand.

Artemis held the keys in her hand and stared at the door. She took in a deep breath and put the key in the lock. Opening the door she saw her college roommate. “Hi, I’m Artemis. I’m guessing you’re my roommate?” She asked with a small smile.
"I always thought that would be an interesting profession growing up. Always interested in police work."
"Same, it’s nice knowing I’m doing the right thing." she said with a small nod.
"Do you have family in that line of work?" Tessa asked thinking of her own family. She hoped it didn't sound like too much of a personal question right off the bat - but typically those types of jobs did run in the family, or family influence.

It was a quiet warm night as Renei sat atop Titans Tower. The wind blew softly sending her long scarlet hair billowing around her. She smiled as she used her powers over fire to light a cigarette. She knew the others would kill her if they knew she smoked, but apart from the time she had in the shower this was the only free time she had, besides one every now and then wouldn’t hurt her.
She undid her cloak from around her neck and sat it off to the side. She didn’t want it smelling like smoke.
Tessa had made another trip out to Jump City to see Robin. The trek was long, but thankfully with access to the Justice League's technology she was able to get there and back in record time. 'Phoenix' was still a new name in the super hero business so she wasn't too familiar with all the others, let alone the titans who lived and worked far from Gotham.
While she waited for her friend to return she ventured up to the roof of the tower instead. There surprisingly was another girl lighting up.
"Hello?" Phoenix called out to the stranger hoping it wouldn't alarm her.

Hello Again!
I am sorry for the unexpected break here! I have had a lot going on with school and life - so plenty to keep me busy and a lot on my mind. I have missed all my threads and all of you guy's writing! I'm hoping that I will be able to begin getting back to those replies within the next week or so - I still have quiet a bit going on the next few days. "I think I can make time in my schedule for a little shopping!" She said with a smile. She hadn't talked to the girl much, but had seen her around, hanging with her group of friends.

Oh, good, someone who looked like a superhero! Gently, Dawnstar alighted on the rootftop. "Excuse me, I was wondering if you could help me...?"
It wasn't often that Phoenix met others on top of roofs in Gotham but there was always a few looking for trouble. Or sometimes just a thrill. "Yes...Who's there?" She called across the dark building.

Phoenix pulled herself up onto the top of the building with a quick sigh. It had been a long evening and whether she wanted to admit it or not she was getting tired. Brushing the dirt off of her hands she looked over the busy and ever moving streets of Gotham.
"You can come out of the dark." Phoenix said confidently having noticed the moving figure that was waiting in the shadow from the moment she had pulled herself up.

With a quickened pace Tessa slipped through the front doors of the manor narrowly avoiding the typical greetings and check-ups from Alfred. As much as she had grown to love him, much like a grandfather or possibly uncle, she had somewhere she wanted to get to at the moment. Tessa herself had began working with Bruce within the two years, but her relationships had grown fast. Although Dick had gone off on his own and at some points encouraged her to do the same, she had chosen to stay where she was.
Venturing down into the Batcave she thought about what Bruce had told her earlier in the week. All of her training had been postponed the past few days because he had been training a new Robin. Eager to meet him she made her way down the stairs where a boy that she could only guess was younger than herself was waiting at the bottom. Had she expected someone older? Remember how old Dick was... She reminded herself as she reached the bottom and approached the new member from behind.
