There stood the turtle, in an unfamiliar place with a dead bird in his hand and the only intelligent creature that he just found, ran away. The turtle let out a sigh and followed the other in the direction he thought she had gone to.

After only a minute of walking, the giant fox had found him again, an array of small twigs and branches clamped in her jaws.

"Shhicks!"

Her muffled voice cheered through the mouthful of dead bark and plant, sitting down in front of the turtle like an excited puppy, wagging her tail happily.

When Kirsty spoke to her, the large vixen just tilted her head. She never thought about that really.

The chills went down his spine when he heard the cry, and it became worse at the sudden silence.

The mutant came back with something in her mouth and threw it at his feet. He almost jumped back, but when he saw how proud she was, he tried to give a friendly smile. “Uhm … well then … you are a good hunter .. thanks …” he said doubtfully as he picked up the bird at the tail. Then he looked back to the mutant “You don’t want me to eat it raw, do you?” he asked somewhat afraid of the answer he would get.

The praise earned some more furious wagging from the giant vixen, but it was short lived at his question. a look of confusion crossed her face, tilting her head.

"You don't eat prey raw?"

She looked pretty surprised at his words, ears flattening slightly. It was pretty obvious she didn't know that much about turtles, or much of anything for that matter.

"O-Okay." The twins both nod. "A-After you." Kirsty prompted the other to show them.

The mutant gave a short nod, turning and beginning to walk down the sewer, not minding the slosh of the thin layer of water around her hind paws. Her ears stayed upright, swiveling around to catch any foreign sounds that could mean trouble.

"Stay...Here."

She spoke slowly, slinking off into the shadows. It was only a moment before a sharp choked out cry was heard, only a split second before it was cut off.

Soon the over-sized vixen came back on all fours, carrying a rather plump pigeon in her jaws. Trotting over, she dropped the feathered native at his feet.Pretty proud of herself, the mutant sat sat on her hind legs, tail wagging.

"Oh!" Her eyes lit up suddenly, a few flickers of flame excitedly exiting her mouth, and some parts of her fur.

"You mean metal entrance. Yes...I know where one is." The fox nodded, her speech seemily to be rapidly improving the more she talked, getting used to these new scents.
