“Whoa! Really!?” the boy’s face lit up immediately, seems he bought it. “That’s so much cooler than some stupid watermelon!” he praised, tail wagging eagerly. He didn’t know that was how it was done! “Thanks!” he added as an afterthought, still grinning.

“Thats the ticket.”Gods, he was a real gullible kid wasn’t he. “And much more accurate than a watermelon.” A tail? The tail was new. As he recalled he did have a tail until he was in his teens. Perhaps this little munckin was on a different time line than him. “You are welcome.” Ruffling his tail. “How long have you had the tail, kid?” 

“Yeah, I guess a watermelon does sound super dumb now that I think about it. A baby would, like, die in a watermelon, ‘cause they’re not hollow.” he noted, then blinked and shrugged at the question. “For a long time?” he guessed, obviously unsure of the answer himself. Which probably translated to he had it most of his life.

“Well good, I don’t wanna go anywhere with you anyways!” he huffed, glaring and turning away from the other. “I’ll find some other way that isn’t going with a jerk!”

“Anywhere! I don’t really ever get to go places!”
