homestuck really does seem like the exact kind of thing i could be insanely autistic for but unfortunately its formatting and incredibly convoluted story that's hard to even access at this point in time makes it so i've never fully and permanently become a fan. yes i like it in some aspects (june and vriska and dave and dirk rights and also i love classpects) but idk if i could ever FULLY get into it and appreciate all of it for what it is
also honestly it's just so slow and boring too. so much of it is just characters standing there and speaking in bright colors and hard to read letter styles and while i love it for its style it also means that it's still. well. kinda boring most of the time? melts into a puddle
just be like me and be autistic over everything but the story <- never read past page ~1200 /silly
but yeah everything somehow happens too slow and too fast at the same time and its- barely enjoyable.
literally i just consume fan content and nothing else and people have told me i'm better for it so maybe i just need to get more into the fandom to find true Autism LMAO
HONESTLY. Fan content tends to be so much better and more convenient to access in general. Like fanmade summaries are really nice and they get people caught up in a manner that doesn't exclude new fans.
Though I will say having your own circle to absorb Homestuck is also a lot more beneficial xD

Are you an epileptic?
Yes. Both mods are. I happen to be medicated more for it so I don't seize immediately but I get sick super easily. The other mod is not as lucky as me in that regard...
(Also I thought it was obvious since I made a seizure related gender at one point, then again I havent even stated what I'm dxd with and self dxd due to fear of being attacked... I can see what I'm comfortable sharing after my errands today.)
