Started socially transitioning at 4 (Summer really helped push it "No mom, Morty is a boy!" Beth was more on board than Jerry, seeing it as a phase her Autistic kid was going through until eventually realizing that it was infact not a phase
Looks a lot like Jerry except for his freckles (Got them from Diane) and his blue eyes (Got them from Prime Rick)
Was born with a tooth gap, but it looks more like a chipped tooth
Morty gets his testosterone from Rick, and Rick gave Morty his (DIY 🤪) top surgery
Definitely has Autism (Rick totes does too)
Use to take Risperidone when he was a kid (otherwise he behaved similarly to Beth as a child)
Didn't talk much as a kid, used a mood chart to convey his feelings. It wasn't until he was around 10 when he truly started talking
His favorite color is actually Red, but he likes the way he looks in Yellow, it being his second favorite color
Even though things didn't work out between him and Jessica he is still good friends with her
Morty's main Hyperfixations are Superheros (Superman is his favorite), Space/Space adjacent things and Animals
Is extremely sensitive to sound, has noise muffling headphones to help
He doesn't like things touching his arms, Rick introduced him to a brand of sweaters that would help (Same brand as Rick's sweater)
Hates foods with slimey textures, they make him gag
Gets his stuttering from Rick
Snowball was originally his emotional support dog
As sad as it is, I think Beth would have drank during her pregnancy with Morty, so I think he has Fetal alcohol syndrome (FASD)
—Struggles with academics
—Struggles with time management (He uses a planner to help)
—Has a short attention span
—Has trouble adapting to change
— doesn't have good motor control (Struggles with his balance, holding a pen/pencil, tying shoelaces, using scissors, ect.)
—Doesn't have good Hand-Eye Coordination, but has worked on this since he was little (Mainly aiming things, like in video games and such)
Has abandonment issues, mainly towards Rick and Summer
Is extremely possessive over Rick and Summer to the point that he will become violent
Has extreme panic attacks just by the thought of either of them leaving him
— Which is why Summer tends to take Morty to parties she goes to (Not college ones)
—And Rick constantly reminds Morty that Nobody can replace him (Although it took alot of convincing and apologizes after the Two Crows incident for Morty to believe Rick again)
When he was a kid Summer mostly took care of him, his mother being drunk or working and Jerry being to self-involved to truly take care of his kids
Has matching bracelets with Summer (He has purple and Summer has yellow)
Morty likes doing "girly things" with Summer (like getting his nails painted, his hair brushed, and gossiping about people at school)
Summer helps Morty properly take care of his curly hair since he struggles
Morty tends to infodump at Rick even if Rick already knows it already (Rick doesn't mind though as he usually infodumps onto Morty too)
Morty and Rick tend to share a lot of the same vocal stims (like "get shwifty" or "aw jeez") and the same physical stims (fiddling with their thumbs or bouncing up and down)
Likes helping Rick with his inventions
He likes it when Summer or Rick touches/ruffles his hair
Rick tends to pack a backpack in his car filled with snacks and water for Morty (But he will also take from it)
Morty carries small fidgets in his pockets (like fidget spinners and small needohs)
I feel like Morty was very ashamed of his autism until he met Rick, letting his "mask" slip more once Rick moved in
Is incredibly good at shooting, although sometimes his hands lock up/start to shake
Doesn't Drink often, only around a few others and doesn't touch drugs except for the few times he smokes weed/weed adjacent things with Rick or Summer (Curse you bad influence!)
When he gets nightmares he usually seeks out Rick (Who is 9/10 times in the garage working) and watches Rick work quietly, only talking about said nightmare if it really messed with him
Still has nightmares about King Jellybean and Planetina
Can't go into public bathrooms alone because of what happened with King Jellybean
One of his biggest fears is turning out like his parents
I wanna go into his "Repressed Rage" a bit more
I think his Rage comes from a fight or flight signal into his brain but on crack, like his sympathetic nervous system sends out too many signals and too often
Think about it like Steven Universe Future and Steven's fight or flight responses
Mostly happens in times of stress and he gets injured (could be as small as a cut)
Definitely started at the Purge episode and over time it got worse, Rick installed a chip in Morty's spinal cord that releases counter-active signals to keep him from freaking out
