It’s not a coincidence that I get texted after I make a post. I’m being monitored, and I don’t like it.

I say it like that because this has happened on more than one occasion.

About ready to leave Japan...

And I’m slowly finding myself separating myself from the people that I kept close to me in this country. I can’t take them with me. They won’t be around me after I go.

I do this. When I know my time is up, I often taper myself off of people because honestly, I know that I’m the span of a lifetime, I will be forgotten, not just by friends but also by family.

So by the time I have to say goodbye, the wordcan come out easily and not loaded with emotions on their end.

And maybe that’s just the way I’m gonna go out when I breathe my last breath. I’ll isolate myself from everyone.

Before you sling your “anti-racism” rants

Check yourself.

Make sure that you aren’t doing what you “fight” against.

Make sure you know what you’re fighting for.

Understand that no matter what you say, your skin color, race, nationality, gender, etc. will be judged by someone, and you best be ready to back yourself up.

Don’t talk about “what it’s like” if you clearly haven’t experienced it.

Folks be very quick to judge what’s said but aren’t actually listening for what they actually mean.

This post is not pro-racism. This is pro-understanding and pro-communication.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse ( art dump part 2/4 )

Here are some very early development artwork for Spider-Verse. Many of there paintings were done to develop the look of the film, the way things were broken up, abstract brush strokes, naturalistic light, etc. It’s nice to see many of these elements were kept and translated into the final film. You can see the changes stylistically especially in the set I design for Mile’s parents home here compare to my part 1 post~
