I HOPE SO!! I did hear there is Charles (some even say he has a scene w Erik in the trailer)

And to answer this great question:

Realistically, no matter how much I'd wish for them to be a fully canon couple, I don't think that has a huge chance of happening. As a compromise, I'd most like to get as many scenes of them being affectionate and loving for one another as possible.

I want to see them protect one another and always stay close together. I wanna get more hand holding and those staring contests where we just know they're talking telepathically, but we don't know what's being said. I want some apologies (on both sides), and then maybe a little of them grieving the fact that it took them so long. I need them to accept one another fully. I don't wanna see that helmet ever again.

If one of them is to die let it be in the other's arms, romantically as fuck. I'd also love some tottally-not-wedding-bands matching rings, tho that would probably be pushing it.

OKAY, SO (it's gonna be all Cherik, of course)

First Class? Easy, the satelite dish scene. It's beautiful and emotional. I love Charles asking before reaching for Erik's mind. I love him bringing such a beautiful memory back to him. I love how he says there's more than pain and anger to Erik. I love the way they cry, showing that men CAN cry and show emotion other than anger. I love Cherik.

Dofp? It has a lot of great, amazing, beautiful scenes, I love this movie so much because of how emotional it is. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I have to admit I really like the scene with the older og timeline Cherik where Erik says, "All those years wasted fighting each other, Charles. To have a precious few of them back."

(I know you said one, but I must add an honorable dofp scene mention of younger Charles talking to his older self.)

Apocalypse? I haven't rewatched that one in a while, as it's far from being a favorite, but probably I'd pick the scene with Charles finding Erik with cerebro after the death of his family. I like it because of the way Erik recognizes Charles' presence immediately, no matter the years spent apart.

Dark Phoenix? PARIS PROPOSAL PARIS PROPOSAL PARIS PROPOSAL PARISPROPO-

X1? That scene where Charles tells Erik he's looking for hope, somewhere at the beginning of the movie. It shows his character so well, especially paired with "We need you to hope again" in dofp and his theme being called Hope.

X2? Literally any scene of them in prison.

Last Stand? Erik saying that Charles' death was his biggest regret and playing chess by himself.

Idk about the Wolverine ones other than Logan (bcs I only watched most of them once a long time ago) and speaking about Logan? Hmm, which one is the most angsty and sould crushing? Perhaps the one at the beginning where we first see Charles in the tank. It's a perfect brick to be thrown.

OHH LFG!!! (Warning as some people might dislike what I have to say)

1) (Not exactly X-Men, but it touches the subject since that's what I talk about here)

I'm not afraid to block people who post content I dislike, ex. ships, opinions, or characters I'm not fond of. I simply don't wanna see content I don't like on my fyp, and I absolutely recommend doing so rather than arguing with people/making rude comments. That doesn't mean I ever have anything personal against the person, just don't wanna see their content.

2) I don't usually hate on ships but there is an exception and it's called Rogueneto, I hate that ship with passion (not just bcs it counters two of my otps, tho that's also a huge reason) I mostly dislike it due to it being clear manipulation and grooming on Erik's part, which really sucks because otherwise I really like '97's Magneto portrayal.

3) I hate seeing people post those "Charles said WHAT to a Holocaust survivor??" Memes involving that famous "They're just following orders" speech, was it a smart thing to say? Absolutely not. But I feel like a lot of people misunderstand the situation and characters in that scene horribly, which makes for unnecessary character hate online. (I even made a whole post about why it isn't just 'Charles being stupid' a while back!)

4) I really, REALLY, *REALLY* dislike both Jean and Scott. There. I said it. Burn me at the stake, idc. All versions of them I had so far watched/read have been annoying, and I srs can't bring myself to like either of them. Their marriage/relationship is unhealthy in most versions, and I absolutely despise that Logan/Jean plot line. I'm exhausted from watching it unfold in almost all adaptations with the same boring and borderline creepy plot.

5) Not a hot take but I hate how Dark Phoenix treated most of the characters, especially Charles.

6) Erik having his family in Apocalypse is unrealistic, and imo wouldn't have happened. They should have kept it in his backstory long before he got involved with other mutants and took up fighting for their cause. It makes 0 sense to me as to why he would randomly (after dofp where his hatred for humans is probably at its highest at that time) settle down with a human woman. Sure, that version might not per say hate all humans as much as the older movie's Mags does, but I'm still 100% sure that the only reason we got his wife and daughter in Apocalypse was for them to die so that he can get his revenge plotline.

There are probably many more "hot takes" from me but this post is already super long haha! I hope those weren't so bad, feel free to share your own unpopular opinions in the comments!

I kinda already answered this in @cherikin2026 's comments (teehee), but I'll gladly say it again because GOD HOW I LOVEE talking about my favorite otps!!

So, in the whole mcu/mcu related content, my otps (the ones you can tear from my cold dead hands) are Cherik, Kastle, and Romy. I love them. They're perfect, and I think about them all the time :'))

I also really like both Stucky and Sambucky, MattFoggy, Deadclaws/Poolverine, Stormverine, and Kityana, as well as most 'canon' ships like Starmora, Wandavision, PeterMJ, Pepperony or Destique

I don't have much to say about them, but I think Lokius is fine and has some cool potential, too!

1. Dofp og timeline Erik not wearing his helmet.

2. '97 Erik not wearing his helmet when Charles is away even though other telepaths are still nearby ex. Jean. And then immediately wearing it again when Charles returns.

3. Doomsday trailer Erik not wearing the helmet.

4. Charles holding onto Erik's hand during beach divorce.

5. The first time Erik 'flies' in the movies being him lowering Charles and himself down after the plane crashed.

6. All the times they glance at eachother in the movies, all the telepathic conversations we never hear.

7. Erik placing his hand on Charles' knee in the car after Charles hid them from soldiers in fc, and Charles licking his lips at that.

8. Erik knew Charles wasn't supposed to be walking in dofp, quote: "Good to see you too, old friend, and walking" But in First Class he left before Charles said he couldn't feel his legs, meaning he checked on Charles after fc.

9. Erik having flashbacks of Charles and Charles only in Apocalypse and deciding killing everyone is actually not cool and immediately going to protect Charles instead.

1) He mentions wind blowing in his hair (NO HELMET?? The divorce really is over!)
