Yeah, I agree. There's even the original script circulating around social media and... well... i do not support the person who made it at all, but they could've salvaged more of the original plot or delay it a little bit more to avoid this mess of a season. If it's true and Onslaught + Polaris going back in time to kill Erik but ending up killing Charles (Legion, that one famous panel of Erik holding Charles' body) were in the original script, then that wouldve been insane.

Apocalypse will most likely return, since Cable wasn't the one to stop him despite him being supposed to do so. And the episode was disrespectful even to Apocalypse himself... So terrifying all season just to look goofy and disappear 0,1s after a fight...

The scene with Kurt is good and i teared up, but it was also so obvious that was gonna happen to the point I was just shrugging at how predictable it was.

At least we are getting Mystique. Yay!

Like meeting up casually to... *cough cough* play chess. And if there is any case where the other is in danger, they will drop EVERYTHING in order to rescue them. They defend each other with their lives.

Most heroes and villains wouldn't even speak to each other outside the battlefield. But because Professor X is not traditionally a hero, and Magneto is not traditionally a villain, they are allowed to have that relationship because they occupy the same space. They just happen to be on separate sides of the battlefield often times.

They are allowed to break all these rules also due to the fact that Erik is not necessarily a villain while Charles is not necessarily a hero. It might be seen like that in the movies, but not really past that! Which is also another thing that makes them perfect. They just do stand on the opposing sides of an ideology and opinion and still respect each other—still love each other even if you ship them or not.

Dofp is just so much pain and guilt and everything, its insane. I also do love all the headcanons and fics where Erik witnesses some little signs of Charles' withdrawal from the serum and blames himself.

I need this to happen, but I dont think it will sadly. If anyone ever writes a fic with this concept, ill be way more than grateful!! The angst (and love) would be in the stars with this!!

Genuinely, I am quite disappointed. I was not expecting much, yet I still managed to get disappointed which is crazy to me.

I hope they'll redeem the show with the next season(s), but this was just... rushed. And even the ending felt like you suddenly got cut off in the middle of the episode.

I've been quite spot on for the first 4 episodes!

I'll sound a little bit like a hater, but trust me that i love the show. The pacing of the episodes got worse after episode 5 and I think that's why it's not even predictable anymore. They need to include so many things in the last episode—that's why I think we are getting a cliffhanger 😭

And most plots might be rushed anyway. They were teasing Deathbit the whole season and in the end it got basically solved in around 5 minutes :( The show needs longer episodes and/or longer seasons :D

But now to the point; we already know everyone is gonna be at the tower. There are gonna be sentinels and X-Force and we are surely getting a scene with Charles in the astral plane again. Plus we still didn't see the scene of Rogue walking into Apocalypse's statue.

But even with these, I'm still kinda lost in where they're taking us. So yeah, I think it'll be a really big surprise.

I want more cherik. Or Apocalypse taunting Charles. That's for sure!

If I was writing horseman Erik and I wanted to break Charles like Apocalypse keeps doing, I'd wipe his memories of Charles. It would be cool to see Charles being able to reach Magnus just like he was successful to find Remy inside of Deathbit.
