Oh boy do I ever! I've got a lot rattling around my skull, so I'm going to actually hold back (shocking considering I'm such a rambler haha)

Primis:

His mother taught him tatting, although he knew it as Schiffchenarbeit (he learned from a young age, his mom was happy to spend time with him)

He kept the first doily he made with his mom tucked away in his journal. It brings him peace out in the trenches (if it comes up he lies and says his mom made him take it with him)

Ultimis:

He apologizes for anything and everything. You bump into him in the hallway? There's definitely a muttered "sorry" as you continue past him. Same thing with random objects, he knocks something over by accident? Sorry about that

Sometimes his mom puts together care packages for him to remind him of home. Which is nice because honestly the working hours kind of suck. She includes some pictures of home, but his favorite is when she includes a bottle of syrup and some maple candy (I don't care if it's a stereotype, maple syrup is delicious)

He has a terrible sleep schedule, it's truly a miracle he didn't die from sleep deprivation
