First time mama “Catastrophe” and her ewe lamb.
…I can understand the name. What the hell kinda sheep is that?
(That was rhetorical. I know what kind: crazypants)
Hello! Catastrophe was born along with her twin sister, Calamity, in the midst of a huge storm, hence the name. They are Jacob sheep, a breed that typically has two, four, or six horns regardless of gender. :)
Let's appreciate how handsome Clipper is.

Sometimes you just need a good roll in the grass.

So awhile back I told you guys I was going to be attending Shearing School over my Spring Break. After the last day of class, my own farm was scheduled to have another shearer, Emily Chamelin, (look her up, she’s a world champ!) do our own flock of Jacob sheep. Although she did most of the girls, I snuck in and did a couple too, and here’s a few shots of me shearing! (The sheep I learned on didn’t have horns which made shearing my own a little more challenging xD)
Austin, our most recent breeding ram. Beautiful blue eyed, 2-horn Jacob.
Buff Orpington rooster fluffing his feathers.
